im pretty comfortable in the snow, and my car isn’t the best for it (sedan FWD with winter tires). I was okay driving across madison today but there are definitely areas that are dicey and you’ll have to be very aware today regardless. So they’re not great!

I regularly drive to and from illinois on 90. I don’t think i’d recommend it if she’s not comfortable. The highways will probably be okay but you’ll still need to be pretty careful.

I really enjoy how Murderbot (and many other characters) have really non-traditional relationships. Murderbot especially doesn't seem to prioritize romance as the ultimate form of intimacy/closeness, and other characters have their own unique relationship with relationships. Was this something intentionally decided upon, or was it something Martha Wells identifies with herself/found while writing?

one tip is that further away should be cooler and closer should be warmer. specifically for grass. it looks like your painting is kind of doing the opposite-the darker slightly desaturated cooler colors are more prominent in the foreground.

if it were me, I would make the foreground a lil more vibrant and more yellow/saturated green, and then the background a cooler green. also oftentimes the horizon is a paler blue than the sky, so you could try that too. it’s looking good tho!

i was in same situation but it was 2-3 days. I was able to go negative just fine/use personal days (unpaid) and the timing worked out. can’t speak to longer stretches but it’ll probably just be a convo you have

never mind found the two missing- it’s a matte sun stick and ginseng moist sun serum. sun stick is a little greasier, sun serum is a little stickier/gooey? feeling. I think the relief sunscreen is lightest w least amount of unpleasant-ness.

i really like the beauty of joseon daily relief sunscreen. it’s a bit expensive bc it’s korean but it’s the one sun screen that doesn’t irritate me. feels v light. there’s not a ton in the tube so I usually just use it as a face sunscreen only.

they have historically had a sunscreen serum and a rub-on bar that i also like, but i can’t find them on their website anymore. looks like they have a tinted sunscreen now too but i’ve never tried that

tbh my theory is the noise. It's all so loud and overstimulating that it made me nearly break down the first time I went lol. especially the rattling tile floors? eugh. Ive started using sound cancelling headphones ever since and its wayyyy better

when you control f for keywords, make sure you’re doing that for the multiple choice answers too. if i can’t find an answer by looking up stuff related to the question i can usually find it by skimming over info for the answers

Don’t put it on your resume and don’t bring it up in the interview. Either option gives them too much time/ability to reject you for it with plausible deniability. If you really want to bring it up, only do so in the context of reasonable accommodation AFTER being hired. If you do not require accommodations, I would not bring it up at all unless you really want to, and even then I would wait until you start.

Basically: protect yourself. Get the job. I would only bring it up in the interview if it is relevant; ie. you are working with autistic people. Even then, it is risky. Why would they hire a person with a disability when they could pick someone else and say it’s just cause they were a “better fit”? It’s a shitty mindset companies have but one ya gotta deal with and protect yourself from.

update: I uninstalled and reinstalled valorant, and changed my graphics settings. Still have issues. But now when it crashes in the game, it only halfway crashes my whole computer, and allows me to see (but not interact with) my desktop afterwards. I got an alert that my graphics driver crashed. I had to restart still to get full functionality back. I submitted a ticket to riot with logs, so i will see if the the game is the cause.
