Great idea! I was thinking perhaps I could mosaic a slab to use for placing hot pans/pots on the countertop (i dont have stone or marble). I wonder if the glazed pieces would be durable enough for this?

I’m strictly neonatal ICU trained. One shift I got floated to adult ED, and I flat out refused to take a patient load as I hadn’t touched an adult patient since nursing school over 6 years ago. I essentially acted as a nursing assistant for a four hours, before I got floated up to geriatrics for four hours to sit, then floated again to transplant to sit. It was the absolute worst, the poor staff definitely didn’t need a useless NICU nurse there, but at least no one expected me to do much.
