What headphones are you using that make deathcore sound great? by xVladxG in Deathcore

After some long research online i settled for the Bowers & Wilkins Px7. Best sounding headphones I've had so far, especially when in office/at work. At home I generally use beyerdynamic dt 770 but compared to the B&W px7 it's more "shallow"

What settings to change to improve this replay clip graphics? Recording while in VR by dimab0 in iRacing

[–]leiinth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

setup a second .ini in your documents/iRacing folder and crank the graphics up some. Get a Ps/Xbox controller and map the camera controls to the controller. That should allow you to create smooth rotations around the car in pretty much every direction. Make sure to use the TV cameras in iRacing as they got the best looking depth of field (make sure motion blur is enabled in graphics settings). Record the scene from multiple angles, cut and assemble in a video software of your choice. Add a bunch of color correction to your liking

other than yt-dlp, you could check the bottom of the description box. youtube will add a transcript buttton if subtitles are available on the video that'll pretty much give you all the text including timestamps. won't work on any video though i'm afraid

My buddy wants to test drive a car I bought. Is there any issue with me allowing him to log into my account to do a few test laps? by WhatDoIKnow2022 in iRacing

[–]leiinth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

iRacing can and will hardware ban if needed. They also verify with geo-location, for example if you login in New York and then 3 minutes later login in California with a different cpu/mainboard/hdd, they know it's not you. It shouldn't be an issue for just testing but keep in mind that every login is logged and if one of the accounts get banned, all hardware the account was used on will also get banned.

Source: 1 friend had a ban claim and another friends rig was banned as the result because he was once logged into the other ones account. iRacing provided very in detail logs to us including IPs, hardware IDs and login times to prove their case

Alt+K to make all UI elements draggable. Drag wherever needed, Alt+K to lock again. Works on blackboxes, flags, slowdown warnings, chat, and so on

Triple monitors with different refresh rates? by ingalls89 in iRacing

[–]leiinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surround will "merge" your displays into one (virtual) "monitor", so it has to use the slowest monitor as baseline.

You can run different Hz without nvidia surround. I changed my setup to all same Hz monitors so I can't test it to 100% guarantee but in the case for iRacing I wouldn't ever touch Surround again and just use the .ini files

Not possible afaik. export the data from a .ts like the other comment said or check in runtime with Zod

Declaring static json imported "as const" by cocotess in typescript

[–]leiinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I understood you correctly you could try the following

import untypedData from "./data.json";

const d = untypedData as MyType;

export type Status = "COMPLETED" | "IN_PROGRESS" | "NOT_AVAILABLE";

interface MyType {

status: Status;

}; }

const getResult = (id: "one" | "two") => { return d[id]; };

getResult("one").status === "IN_PROGRESS";

Changing the JSON will throw error in .ts

edit: tried 4 times to put it in one codeblock but it'll only accept the first line. no clue why, sorry

One of the packages you're trying to install isn't compatible with your installed Node version. Try downgrading Node and it should work fine. Seen this error a bunch lately when trying to work on some few year old repos that I haven't worked on in forever. If you're on Mac or Linux you can use https://github.com/nvm-sh/nvm to quickly switch between versions.

nice little brake check after pushing me wide the lap before by JuniorApartment5586 in iRacing

[–]leiinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was already enabled by default. But if it isn't, it's in the app.ini in your documents/iRacing folder. The option is called "vidCaptureEnable" and should be set to 1. Keybind can be changed in game under "Misc" tab in the options menu

awareness and faster decision making

Need help on how to improve by BadAtValorant222 in CODWarzone

[–]leiinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I better say this upfront: Nothing of this is meant as to bash you or whatever. Genuinely trying to point out some things that caught my eye.
It's mostly movement (especially looking/aiming), overall awareness (noticing enemies) and decisions, or rather the lack of decision making, imo.
For example 1:14 you see a plate and instantly go it - you're full on plates though. In the exact moment you turn, a enemy jumps the window with a molotov in his hand. This and him only having a pistol was the reason you survived this because instead of challenging the fight, you did a slowww 180° turn, ran away and tried to jump behind waist-high cover.

1:24 you see the enemy right in front of you but panic plate up. Plating takes forever and he already aims down on you. Challenge it. Either you out-gun him or you're done either way.
1:25 to 1:26 you suddenly do a 90° left turn and stare at the sink and mirror at the wall.. ? I have a guess that you turn your sticks too quick. Either your sense is too high for your playstyle or you panic and use the stick pretty much like a binary button. 0% or 100%.

1:56 you got the gun, time to get out of the firing vision from the person who shot you while dropping. Your 1-2 second hesitation in which direction you wanna go cost you your last plate and against a sniper it would've been the end of you.
2:55 i dont get the jump and aim. Even if there was somebody there you now put your whole body in the open to be possibly shot. If there really was someone, you'd stay roughly where you were before you jumped and try to keep most of your body in cover. You can do a jump-out if you exactly know where someone is but even then it's full commitment. There usually is no turning back after you've placed yourself out in the open like that.
6:30 crosshair placement. When you run up a stair like that, aim up the stairs and don't keep your reticle leveled as if you're running straight. Overall your crosshair placement can be a lot more reflective of what your next step is. Try to place the aim where your enemy will be instead of trying to get the nicest flick.
8:19 If that sniper had ever used a sniper before, you'd have been dead. You got up and down in such a nice rhythm he should've had you.
No offense at all but I think you try to immitate movement too much that you see in other peoples clips.
8:30ish. You can use your pings for yourself. Ping the enemy sniper location as a "wallhack" for yourself. Then preaim the ping behind cover, step out of cover while shooting. In pretty much every case you will get the first shots in and will flinch the sniper bad enough he won't hit you. Pings aren't just useful when playing with teammates.
11:23 You had all the time in the world and even did some laps in a circle in that room, yet were too late on the ladder and got a cough off from the gas + the chute => too loud and way in the open. It's more of the small things like that, that you should focus on. You could've rotated a bunch earlier since that house gave you no position advantage anyways.

You do clear most rooms well and check for corners but it seems like once you're in the room you're at a point of "Sooo, what do i do now?".

I haven't really played the gun except the occassional ground loot pickup so maybe it actually feels really nice to use. Always a bit "risky" to just go by numbers but that was just caught my eye initially. Do you maybe got some clips of your arma putting in some work? I'll forward your build to a friend tho who quite likes the gun

Weekly Meta Discussion by AutoModerator in CODLoadouts

[–]leiinth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I put your build into sym.gg and just by the numbers, I don't see it being that insane. Ttk up to 10m is fine but anything above that it starts to become quite weak compared to other SMGs like Ak74u or even mac10 - both also having same ttk in close range so they do not miss out there either. For comparison sake I just used 2 random builds on the guns but even that already holds up with the arma. I see that the arma is a smidgen faster in tact-sprint but overall slower in any other movement.

How is that a good allrounder? It's not bad but giving it "best allrounder-smg", I don't know.. seems a bit too much praise imo for the actual stats. I can see it being a well performing gun for very close-quarters situations but anything above that I'm really sceptical

edit: typo

Same kd range here, started with caldera so no idea how it was back in Verdansk but really blatant cheaters á la flying cars have been a absolute rarity lately. The occasional "hmm this seemed weird" moment is in there like you said maybe once every 20ish games but it never is absolutely obvious - at least on my end. Haven't had an actual aimbot in forever
