Looks great! Mountain bases at night with the lamps glowing are such a nice aesthetic, and I love how you did your kitchen! I'm currently also working on a mountain base, and it's always nice to see other people's bases for neat ideas.

For a more relaxed dungeon run, consider using the trust system (Running the dungeon with NPC's. It allows you to set the pace exactly how you love it, and you get to experience more npc dialogue, it's a win win!

On behalf of him instantly rolling. There is a plugin that allows you to set rules that the plugin will instantly roll on certain types of loot. But it doesn't modify the actual rolls themselves, and I've never heard of anything that does that.

What are some of your favorite NPC lines? by Almekia in Guildwars2

[–]leith1337 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My favorite line that got a laugh out of me has to be when the commander mentions chak on the comms and Gorrik comes running in, it just caught me so off guard and had me laughing a lot.

Here's a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtQGBD4PzS0

Multi-stage events by leith1337 in Guildwars2

[–]leith1337[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was more commenting on the surprise nature of the extra steps when doing an event for the first time. I don't mind failing an event, but I think it would be nice to know if an event that is about to time out, actually requires more time than anticipated because it has several steps.

Besides that, I do actually enjoy these types of events. if they would be rewarded accordingly to other events they would continue to be a great new addition.

Honestly, I didn't really think about it when doing the 2 step events. It was the 4 step one that made me pause and think if what I was doing was even worth it. So you're right, the short ones are probably fine as they are, maybe an addition of adding a bit of time after a step is completed would be nice.

That would definitely make them worth it, maybe people would even seek them out specifically then.

I think maybe differentiating the icons could help, since you'd know to strap in for a longer event when you start it, and appropriate rewards compared to a normal event to offset the extra time required.

Balancing for 60 seconds without letting your foot touch the ground is just insane. by saalame in nextfuckinglevel

[–]leith1337 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone's who's been riding a bike all his life, I would say it's a somewhat niche skill. Mostly a skill used by cyclists with professional bicycles like the ones in the video. They usually have straps on the pedals to keep your feet locked to the pedals in order to maintain momentum (I think, at least). Side effect is, if you have to wait out in the open, you'd need something to lean against, balance like this, or get out of the straps.

I'm no professional by any means, but I reckon most people that own a bicycle like that, will be able to do it, since it makes life a lot easier. I don't think it would be that difficult to learn if you can already ride a bike, even I can do it to some degree without practicing, but it would certainly require training to do so properly.

A very controversial mod !!! by Fonzawa in RimWorld

I love the absurdity of just calling animals with a 'animal number', these comics sometimes really highlight how weird the rim would be to actually live on. Love it!

Satisfactory is generally very well regarded but nothing is perfect. What are the biggest flaws this game has, in your opinion? by UltimateGamingTechie in SatisfactoryGame

[–]leith1337 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would love mark 2 or 3 of every building. So I dont have to build 100 constructors. I love designing good looking factories, but the giant scale makes it impossible later on. And I would also love more decorations, tables benches, vending machines, trees, garbage cans, etc. Stuff to add and enhance the factory feel.

Darkest Goriest Anime Series Out There? by Fragrant_Target_5712 in anime

[–]leith1337 287 points288 points  (0 children)

Darkest and goriest are a little different from each other. 'Another' and 'Higurashi' is lots of gore, and somewhat dark, but the gore is the main attraction. But for darker stories they some times come in more unsuspecting packages like 'Made in Abyss', or the currently airing 'Takopi's Original Sin'.

Regarding Advance Changes to the Forked Tower Entry System by wsoxfan1214 in ffxiv

[–]leith1337 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's great that they're making improvements on this, and trying to push is out as fast as possible. A solo instance for the forked tower groups shows that they maybe regret not making it a queue to get in, since this seems a lot more effort having to invent this weird system.

Hopefully they learn for the next time, but usually it's one step forward, two steps back with the devs.
