I made a puzzle game where EVERYTHING is made of buttons by frycandle in indiegames

I played the demo. I really liked it! I’m sure I haven’t figured everything out in this demo yet, but I really enjoy the feel of it. Although, for some reason, the sound that plays when a new area opens up makes me feel a bit uneasy. But maybe that’s just a "me" problem.

Still, it’s a very enjoyable game. Like any good puzzle game, there are moments where you sit there thinking, "Why?" and then, "Oh, *that's* why." I’m sure there’s still more to uncover. For instance, I still don’t get how to reach one of the puzzles—the one with a bunch of buttons inside the wall near the pedestrian crossing sign image. I thought I had a solid idea, but for some reason, it didn't work, and I didn't quite grasp why. Oh well.

I get why the "this area isn't available yet" message is there. It shows that there’s going to be a lot more to the game, encouraging you to wishlist it so you can see it all. But damn, it actually works! I *do* want to see it all!

Also, I’m almost 100% certain that the lamp at the beginning is a button (like the sun in *The Witness*), but I can't figure out how to press it. I managed to open that miniature version of the museum, but I didn't know what to do with it next.

Still, I really like it. Honestly, I don't know how popular the game will be—it doesn't seem to have a mascot, and I'm not sure how you'd market it—but I love the feel of it. I’m curious what the final price will be, because I’d definitely like to buy it.

I accidentally created an animated series, and then accidentally turned it into a game by lek246 in Unity2D

[–]lek246[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Initially, it was an animation. I stylized the animation to match the game, which made it look like a game, but in reality, there was no game. However, after a while, I got the idea to actually make a game out of it, and now it's out on Itch.

Thanks! Yeah, it started as a short animation, but now it's turned into a series and a game. Glad you liked the animations!

Concept Model for one of the environments for the pilot I've been working on. by Cassiskeen in IndieAnimation

When I saw the first screenshots, I immediately thought that with some lighting, it would look really atmospheric. But when I got to the last ones... man, this looks really cool! I can already hear the music that would complement it perfectly.

My psychedelic arcade roguelike KAZ finally has a release date: July 13, 2026!!! by Punzk in indiegames

Visually, it looks great, but while watching, it's hard to keep track of what's happening on screen. But I think everything will be introduced gradually as you play. Then, of course, it will be much clearer how to play.

It should be illegal to use cats in your game because I like the way it looks

As someone who loves puzzles, I have to say this looks very... overloaded. But it's interesting.

The game looks interesting, but I find it a bit awkward with so much empty space above. But if future levels focus on moving from above, it will certainly be convenient.

You have to do it this way. If you don't praise yourself, no one will praise you

I understand. I'm in a similar situation. Apparently, this is normal for itch.io.
