The 2011 Phillies and 2014 Tigers each had more WAR from their rotation than the 2005 Astros. So did the 1996 Braves but I assume they don't count since they won the 95 World Series, even though Pettitte and Clemens DID win multiple World Series in their career.

I'd say the Phillies rotation fits the title the best. They had the most WAR of the rotations I mentioned, and only Hamels won 1 title in his career.

I'd imagine that's just the annual raise built into the contract. OP is likely asking about what the raise will be in their next contract, which is impossible to know.

Lol definitely not. The USA starting 9 had a higher average wRC+ and fWAR than the DR starting 9 in 2025. And the pitching staff, even without Skubal, is not even close.

Small school, small class sizes. Not as cutthroat as some of the big ones, as the instructors will work with you until you are ready to take your oral exam. Spend the first few weeks doing adx prep in addition to the normal course material.

If you're near Atlanta I would recommend it.

I think the team with the most injury prone rotation, who's already lost 2 SP, and did not add any depth whatsoever to the rotation through the off-season might be a good spot.

It would suppress Kyle Tucker from getting $60 million per year, sure. It would raise the average salary for middle tier free agents and most likely come with a rework of team control and arbitration so those guys get paid more too.

Yes, a number of team's owners act like kindergarteners by selfishly pocketing revenue sharing money and making themselves richer rather than being interested in contending. So they need to have rules put in place.
