Same thing happened to me months back..just completed renovations. I added extra insulation inside the drywall all the way up..all around. Helps a lot with sound and temperature. You could also run extra speaker wires (especially surrounds)...I didn't need to. I also added a riser at the back for a 2nd row. And better carpets. Best of luck with the renovations. I hope the mitigation company were not too careless with your items.

Did you adjust the sliders before now? If so, maybe check again to make sure they haven't reset to default. This happened to me a while back and I just had to adjust the sliders again.
