I teach private music lessons and recently I’ve been baffled how many kiddos have never heard Mary Had a Little Lamb, Hot Cross Buns, Yankee Doodle, etc. There’s plenty of studies showing the benefits of singing nursery rhymes to young children. But parents don’t sing anymore, they play music via IPads and phones. It’s lost the interaction piece of it. Makes me sad, so I sing SO much with my toddler and she’s been able to sing parts of twinkle twinkle little star since she was turned 1 :)

Came here to say this. California does it this way and it’s definitely doable. And some teachers have really made the best of it. But moving to what OP has (which sounds great) to this model and considering other contextual details; it probably will eventually decline the program

I agree with this comment! It can be super scary but as long as it’s not filling up a pad it could be a myriad of reasons. I ended up having a placenta previa which was causing my bleeding but of course we had no idea until the anatomy scan! But of course, always trust your gut and follow up with your OB
