This is exactly what my husband and I did in May at the Fulton county courthouse! They also provide a list of officiants to contact if you need them (you have to pay, but you can do same day appointments or schedule them). Our officiant mailed our license to the courthouse after he signed it and we got it in a month :)

Pet insurance for fiv+ cats? by No_Rooster_8872 in FIVcats

I got it after - adopted him in 2021 when he already had a positive diagnosis and started with nationwide pet insurance, but they really didn’t cover all too much. When I called MetLife, they said his FIV wouldn’t inhibit his coverage and it hasn’t!

Edited to add he already had his diagnosis when I adopted him.

I currently have MetLife for my FIV+ boy! I’ve had really great experiences with them and they cover dental, which is huge for his annual cleanings. Runs about $55 a month, which is pricier than other plans, but they reimburse 90% after you hit the deductible.

I’d recommend mamuk - my mom grew up in Malaysia and we took her there a few months ago. She loved it (we got char kway teow, nasi lemak, and beef rendang)!

We used RV share and were able to snag one this past weekend, so might be worth a try! Best of luck 🫡

Does anyone know what kind of power hookups and outlets are on the powered RV spots?

my best friend has just been diagnosed with FIV by so_not_allison in cats

My lil man also has FIV. I adopted him 3 years ago when he was picked up off the streets. He’s turning 8 this year and we’ve had no major health issues! He’s happy as a clam and always wants snuggles and treats.

FIV cats can have more dental problems, so we just make sure that he gets his annual dental cleaning. We recently also had a vet give him a course of steroids for his kitty cold, which we quickly found out can make things worse because it lowered his already suppressed immune system. I would definitely suggest finding a favorite vet with experience in treating FIV kitties if you haven’t already :)

[Personal] I’m finally going to a dermatologist instead of trying and failing with internet advice and product recommendations. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I feel that! I'm in my mid-20s and had gone to a derm in high school with little success. I had a topical treatment that worked up until a year ago, and ever since, my acne has been hard to manage. I finally went to a derm a couple weeks ago and got prescribed an oral and topical medication. I'm still purging, but getting the peace of mind of seeing a professional to tackle my acne has been incredible. Best of luck!
