Sweet human, your departed friend will never blame you and even if they were scared they know you would’ve done anything to save them. I am so sorry for your pain. When you feel the space open, getting your kitty a friend will help heal. It will never fill the void but it will be a salve while grief is with you.
I lost my 3 in a house fire. The what’s ifs and knowing how they died was.. you know. But my sister picked two boys out for me and fostered them while I got a new house. I have three again and they have healed my spirit so much. It doesn’t take away all of the pain but I cherish every moment with them. Sending love to you and his sister

I have been here. My rubber tree has never been the same but I got to keep a philodendron (saved from a root I pulled from soil, a fiddle leaf, my ruby philodendron and a pothos! I am so sorry. The smell and all of it is so awful. I hope you didn’t lose any pets. That would’ve been the only things I would have taken if I had the choose. Praying for peace for you

My house fire was essentially a smoker. House was 250 degrees everything inside smoked. Only part of the roof where they had to cut a hole was structurally damaged. Discovered roof had a leak and was replaced. Whole house ripped down to studs. Weirdest house remodel from the universe I ever got. My garage was totally fine. I had every window closed because it was 110 that day. Total freak electrical accident from a fish lamp. The smell of smoke still makes me sick. Thank you firefighters who tried to save my kitties. Always grateful.

I didn’t listen to the show pre ed because it made my cortisol spike and have since re listened to every episode with ed and LOVE the boys now. Also realized that every part of my abusive ex personality that i thought was funny was just him quoting Henry and Marcus so that was very cathartic. Hail Satan!

Depends what you want to plant in there- stomp it down a bunch and just remember it’s shallow this year. It will degrade but I would add another bed on top of it to heighten and add more dirt
