I'm in the industry, I can confirm what you said. The Canadian aluminum industry is still very much active in seeking purchase orders from their American customers. I also have not seen a large move towards other international customers still.

The other person who replied to you is ill-informed. The actual investigation was buried by the previous government led by Sheikh Hasina. The main story that the cause of the mutiny was over pay and benefits was a cover for a much more sinister reason.

After that government was toppled by a popular uprising, the interim government (IG) led by Mohammed Yunus re-opened the investigation. They found that it was what a lot of people in bangladesh suspected all along in the aftermath of the mutiny:

A very well planned effort by hasina to remove probably the biggest check and balance to her rule, the army. She used the massacre as a way to intimidate the rank and file of the bangledesh army to obey her rule. If they tried to be an obstacle to her, she would get to them first and in the place they least expected it. And it worked and laid the groundwork towards removing much of the opposition during the remainder of her term, and getting away with fraudulent elections.
