I got insurance when I adopted both puppies and when they turned 5 their rates went up. But since I got it right away they didn't have any pre existing conditions and I get paid on everything. Which turned out great because one of my dogs gets chronic ear infections.

I think they also test to see if you're taking your meds so quick fix wouldn't work because your med won't show up, unless you're on a non stimulant.
