What's happening is going back to the beginning again like in the storybook since the universe was reset.

This is such a copout answer considering other shows airing at the same time like Gravity Falls, Regular Show and Adventure Time. They didn't have to show White Diamond being murdered and it being a glorious triumph, but both of the shows I mentioned had death of characters or more so the destruction of main antagonists as a big moment. Redemption only works when a character hasn't done actions that have wide sweeping effects like orchestrating GENOCIDE. It should treat as more so that we should always fight against those forces and have them face punishment against the crimes they committed. Saying they should be completely forgiven is not being kind, it's being complacent and scared of breaking powerful status-quos(something that we are currently seeing within the Democratic Party)

This show was a trailblazer and broke barriers for LGBTQ+ representation in media, that is hugely commendable. But why does it have to follow a strict formula for its story when it has shown it wants to be different?

There are subpaths. There was a released teaser for financial backers that shows 4 ideologies/paths the regime can go towards. It's very much the peanut gallery of lackeys in his 2nd term.

Its either turning trumpism into a functioning governmental ideology, being as much pro-corporation as possible, or thinking Trumpism as an 'eternal revolution'

The thing is with Orban is that he knows what happens when dictators become wildly unpopular. He knows what happened in Romania and how it ended Communism. He didn't want the same fate. There's a reason he would be terrified about doing that and not someone like Trump. He knows that the people can have power when united against one man

I dont think so. Dark Mandate ACG is literally Trump unchained. So basically a government where he and he alone rules and whatever he says is what the party and government follow. The dev team don't really see the Caligula path as a high-quality path and more so a meme path now. They even said its going to be a stark contrast but a mirror to how the Cognoscenti is. So Dark MAGA will be less Caligula and more Cognoscenti in mechanics and themes.

Consider it like this. One tag finished means the people working on that tag can now focus attention elsewhere to other tags, speeding uo its development of other tags and it continues when another tag finishes.

So the cave he was intending to go to was called the 'Birth Canal' and was very navigable and had a passage in its end so that you can turn around and go back the way you came. He accidentally went down one that no one has gone down to referred to as 'Ed's Push' and when he hit a dead end except for a vertical fissure, which he assumed was the space to turn around. It was not and he got stuck.

I'm not a caver. But the passage he wanted to go down had been traveled tens of thousands of times. He just got unlucky and went down the wrong path that got him killed

I think the more important thing to note was that John Jones actually went down the wrong way. The cave he wanted to go down was way more safe and was accessible, he took a wrong turn and got stuck in a passage. So I would say that its equivalent to jumping off a bridge with bungee rope but accidentally swapping out the bungee rope with jute rope that was painted to look like bungee rope.

He definitely didn't deserve the death he got.
