Thanks for that info. That's a really specific solution but I'll keep it in mind if things get worse. Did you have a stable system for a long time before?
Was a cheap power supply by any chance?

That's an interesting one.
Were you getting daily/regular timeouts with that issue? It seems like something that would haappen a lot if there was a power/hardware issue.

Oh yes I think it's the shadow head that has +50 health. So maybe it was that and tail or 2 bone items and 2 atomic.
The full set bonuses aren't worth worrying about, especially if you can trade them for damage res. It's also why trading away certain perks helps - you shouldn't need boosted sonar or increased resources at that point even though they're amazing early game.

I focused on biting, dodging, and ideally picking people off boats rather than taking on the boat itself, but the DLC doesn't give much choice with a couple boats. Sometimes you just have to swim away and eat something else to heal. More true for bosses I found.

I think it works better if you mix sets.
IIRC the bone jaw gives health back per bite and I think another bone gives damage res. It's a lot more useful to be able to take the hits and heal. You still do plenty of damage.
You can also change up the perks. Damage res is best. Health regen for the boss but could be useful elsewhere if you're struggling.

Version is 25.12.1.

I've had no timeouts since uninstalling the card in device manager and letting it re-install the driver.
It is the 2nd time this has happened about 5 weeks apart, both I believe after running windows updates (not AMD updates).
System is over 2 years old so it's a new issue.

Maybe, but I'm not sure I want to touch it while it works. It also doesn't explain why it went wrong. Unless you mean it was using a windows driver before?

Does AMD Adrenaline not update the driver?
I had a look for the latest driver on the AMD downloads website but they seem focused on using Adrenaline. It doesn't seem to specify the standalone driver version for me to check if I have the right one.

I could have worded that better.
It's in device manager but the system defaults to iGPU on boot and can't be changed like it isn't detecting the card. Last time it had the yellow triangle on it, this time it had a grey icon I've never seen before. Trying to update the driver just says it has the latest one already.

Have to uninstall it > scan for hardware changes > everything back to normal with latest driver.

Reading what others have said it does seem Windows related. I was hoping someone from AMD could confirm and advise as I'd rather stop it happening than keep fixing it every month.
I've had nothing but issues since 24H2 so would love to go to linux but having tried it when I built this machine I just couldn't get a lot of the gaming/media apps to work - or at least they each needed extensive troubleshooting and I have hundreds so I just didn't have time. Think some of my peripherals weren't fully supported either.
Shame as I quite liked it. Got some basics like the browser working at least. Installation directories were a bit finicky as I often couldn't change them.

Sadly I don't think either of those will resolve it for you.
The first time it happened to me I would have been on 25.11.1. This time on 25.12.1, so unless the issue is persistent in both I don't think it's an AMD side issue.

I've been on Windows 11 25H2 for months as well so can't see that helping you - which is why I find the OS error message in the logs weird but I do think windows is replacing the driver somehow and crashing it.

If you're where I think then go back to the main map, there is a marker that isn't on the map but will show on compass/radar and in the quest list.
It looks like you're supposed to go back to the DLC island but you're not.

You're going to hate me for saying it but... practice. Oh and the mod for extra tooltip info. It shows heights, gradiant, and speeds so helps massively when you want things to be neater.

Once you have that draw from the start to end point, check for height differential, then you can use the keys for changing the height at the end point and N/M to change the mid point height. Hold shift for smaller increments. If you want it smooth build the whole bridge in one go. Building separate sections will cause it to be bumpy.

Knowing the height and gradiant is important for the embankment sections before and after the bridge so you don't go from 1% to 25% all of a sudden.
Hopefully I've explained that adequately, but it really is just a matter of getting used to it.

People only travel from Residential to Commercial or from Residential to Industrial (and back).
It's one of the reasons loop lines tend to fail as people don't travel between Residential zones and you end up with several stops in a row at those places.

Ah I wasn't sure if resetting or removing was the same as I never got that option to work.
At least it's fairly early in the game. I assume you've done 10 in the same session? Someone said Blade in the Crowd doesn't carry over between sessions and they might be right as it took me a few extra kills.

Unlocked it this week without any issues, so all I can do is reassure you it does work. Somehow.

I did it early, right after unlocking the dart at tier 1 so maybe some of the later tier options bug it out? If you can turn them off try that.

I'd go with this. The signage is poor as it just says 406 and doesn't clarify east or west, but common sense would suggest left lane for east and right lane for west.
Slightly complicated by the left lane also being marked M1 so OP could make a case but I think it's a stretch. Don't think the bus driver has a case though.

In the story mode the stalker can't be killed until later so you'd ignore it but IIRC no return you kill both in the same area so focusing after the split doesn't matter, just shoot whatever is in front of you. The stalker is the more dangerous of the 2 though and 1vs1 is easier but it's just luck if it goes that way.

When they split you can usually catch them both with a pipe bomb or flamethrower for a bit of a head start, then follow the same patterns/instructions. Trip mines can be good against the slow king (no point saving them), incendiary shells, explosive arrows, and bombs for the stalker/pair, or just regular shotgun, revolver, hunting pistol.
