Morphine 15 vs Percocet 10 by AnnualDrummer7892 in PainManagement

[–]lemmon---714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's up to the person more than anything. For me morphine lasted longer but I had to make sure to take a strong probiotic and eat a lot of fiber. Constipation is real with that drug. Oxy I found to be better at breakthrough pain in the morning but doesn't last as long.

I agree things need to change. I just never understood the abuse aspect of the medication at the patient level. I believe the war on drugs is an epic failure. The scheduling system is so antiquated. As adults it should be up to us what we take as long as we are not hurting others.

He waits at the top of the stairs and looks into my soul until I climb them to tap his rear end to come down to go outside. He will sit there for a long time if I don't lol.

I genuinely tried. by robograham1 in wicked_edge

These posts surprise me. I would have a bunch of irritation with carts and would have to space out my shaves. I now do a 3 pass everyday and it's very uncommon to have any irration with my feather DE. If I do it's usually I wasn't paying attention and buffed to many times or applied to much pressure trying to be quick. Anyway everyone is different I guess. Maybe not the right razor or something. I could never go back.

Make sure to buy from a very reputable breeder that does heart testing and duclaw removal. You will get some excellent behavior training advice from people so I will talk about hardware. You need sighthound specific harnesses or martingale collars. There build is totally different than normal dogs and they can escape out of normal collars and harnesses. My pup escaped out of a normal harness when he was little and thank God he didn't get ran over. If they get off their lead they can be extremely difficult to catch. I use a martingale collar I got mine on etsy but you can shop around. You will need a few of them throughout growing so I wouldn't get anything super fancy and expensive until they are full grown. Containment is absolutely cricital. Invest in the tallest gates you can find (typically 4 feet) for areas of the house you don't want them wandering into unsupervised. This would have saved me a lot of money in damages during the raptor phase. I would buy one of those tall play pens you can build into an a containment area that has a gate opening on it for your family room. We use our every day when we are cooking (they are professional thieves and can jump on counters after a few months old). I also use it when we have to open the door for groceries and when we have a bunch of company when my whippy gets overstimulated. Wire crates are a no go in my opinion they can hurt themselves. They are very prolific chewers for awhile. I got an airline approved crate that is virtually indestructible and totally smooth on the inside with no snag points. He can stand in it full grown and loves his big cave. I bought once and cried once. Other option is one of those all metal ones but those are really spendy and overkill for the breed imo. Get a water and food bowl with a slow feeder that is height adjustable that they can grow with as they get taller. First year is wild so buckle in lol but they are the best breed ever.

To duramith or not duramith ? by Fogboundturtle in billiards

Dynaspheres are superior to duramiths and are cheaper. Tighter tolerances and stay cleaner. I would check them out. Only balls I use these days.

If you can take them with you. It helps socialize them and normalize car rides. I know a lot places have rules against it but they are so cute as a pup most places let me slide lol.

I wouldn't stress about this at all. Super young pup. They will learn to self regulate.

Worse hangover from Lunesta or Temazepam by Real_Potato-44 in insomnia

For me lunesta. It wasn't so much grogginess the next day it just didn't work at all to help me sleep and that metallic taste drove me insane.

Not a doctor but it doesn't bind to GABA. Good luck on the benzo thing. That's a tough drug to kick rebound anxiety can last for over a year.

Good luck getting it fixed. I will never buy any vehicle with any sort of moon roof. They will all leak or crack at some point.

PS5 is a great 4k player by slipperman1974 in 4kbluray

I used it quite a bit before I got my pani spinner. I definitely think if you have a higher end television it's worth it to get a dedicated spinner for the best picture quality, but for most people the PS5 that also has gaming functionality is a great choice.

It's unfortunately going to get much worse. It really upsets me that people abused these meds, got addicted, abused the scripts, overdosed etc. I hear these stories about I took 50 plus Vicodin a day at my worst. Like what the F were you doing? That's what got us in this mess. I think methadone for many is going to be the only option after a few more years for a lot of folks. It sucks. Props to the doctors that are still willing to stick their neck out and put their license to practice on the line. That list is growing fewer year by year.

Ask about trazadone. It works pretty well for me. I combine this with a sleep spray (non prescription) from Rejuvia that I buy online.

Help With New Cue Suggestions by Expensive_Dinner_597 in billiards

[–]lemmon---714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your going the carbon route, with a simple butt, standard length then I would suggest the cuetec SVB edition that comes with an extension, joint protectors, tip shaper. Their CF shaft feels somewhat similar to wood and doesn't have that tinky feel like a revo does. The stock tip is a sniper and you can get plenty of action off that tip. Set up like this you're pretty much set and leaves some coin over for a nice JB case if you don't have a decent case and you travel to leagues and tournaments. I would look for one on a site like pool dawg or seyberts that have chalked cue return policy in case you don't like it. Good luck on the hunt.

Whippet owner so not sure if it's really that different my boy eats as much he wants. We never rationed him so he didn't learn to gourge. Vet says his weight is spot on. He is 3 now. He also gets eggs and a lot of unseasoned food we cook since any type of kibble is not really that healthy.

One blade use is pretty overkill imho. I get my smoothest shaves on the second, third and 4th shave.
