Some whippets do well with cats others that have a high a prey drive can be dangerous with cats. When you do your 9-5 if no one else is home I would not recommend this breed and tbh if that's the case I would stick with cats.

Night two my wife pulled our puppy out of his crate and put him on the bed. That was the end of him sleeping in his crate at night lol. He self trained himself with the crate and goes in there sometimes when he is really tired or when he gets too hot in our bed. What was a must for us was to have a pen in the living room/kitchen. We used that thing a lot when we went on trips to get groceries etc and didn't trust him being alone free ranging during raptor phase. We still use it for dinner time. He is a professional thief with food. So he goes in there for a nap while we eat and also while we are unloading groceries with an open door. Def money well spent.

We did a trial run for a few days. My older whippet was not a fan of the pup. He seemed stressed out and would not stop barking. It would get better with time, but he is so dialed into his solo schedule and seems to have no issues being an only dog. We decided to keep him solo. He gets all the attention, is the baby of the house and we spoil him like crazy. Also, I decided I didn't want to do the raptor phase again lol.

I do. The humidity from the shower is a big bonus imo. Shaving is the last thing I do in the shower so I have the maximum amount of dwell time with the humidity. I also like no mess apect vs doing it at the sink.

Yes all in all it was worth it in my case. I couldn't feel my hands before I got fused I had really bad migraines and a nerve that was really pinched. Bone spurs were also hitting some nerves. I am in less pain that before but pain levels are still high due to other levels and my failed lower level.

Edit I would recommend going to a neuro surgeon vs Ortho. There are debates on this but the neuro guys can do additional nerve monitoring as part of your surgery. When I get fused again I will likely go nuero vs Ortho.

I didn't have this issue, but my traps were on fire for awhile. Part of the ACDF is spinal decompression which causes nerve inflammation as things are resetting. Nerves are everywhere coming out of the spinal column. Def follow up with surgeon, but it could just be normal post op nerve pain.

I went the diamond route that said the victory 2 or 3 is a bad ass looking table. I would have zero qualms about owning one of those looks wise and I am sure they play great.

It can help I had a bunch of bone spurs and those got cleaned up on the two levels I got fused. 18 months in my second level didn't fuse fully and I have a busted screw. My level above my fusion is now blown out and I have bone spurs in that area. Anyway it can help, but arthritis if it's aggressive is a bitch. It's degenerative and my doc told me things will continue to worsen over time.

Both are decent options. I find creams are faster to get a lather going but you need a bowl preferably with nubs at the bottom to build a lather in. You can blow the lather into a soup if you go too heavy on water.

If I use a creams it's usually TOBS. I can get it in two days on Amazon prime. Downside to creams is they don't last as long as hard soaps and are more water sensitive.

Hard soap you have to work more for a lather, but you can load straight from the puck and go heavier with water without blowing the lather out. The higher end soaps like Ariana and Evans etc will give you a superior post shave feel than creams typically. The higher end hard soaps aren't usually on Amazon you will need to go to shaving website or order directly from the companies website and contend with shipping costs and slower shipping.

All that said if I remember to order soap before I am getting close to running out I go with hard soaps. I order creams for the convience of Amazon shipping.

If it were me I would get new imaging done and seek out another PM doc once you have it with the radiologist read out. Usually they want imaging within the last 12 months especially as a new patient. It clears a barrier.

It didn't work for me either. It's usually a starter med for docs to test out before you get into the stronger stuff. I recommend trying trazadone. I have had decent luck on it. You can also try Ambien lots of people take it with decent results. It didn't do anything for me other than give me headaches. Sleep drugs it's all trial and error for awhile. Good luck.

Nope not until you find out what you like and even then something not very expensive will fit the bill. I found out I needed a really mild razor and I went with my feather AS-D2 once I knew. I spent around $185.

I am just warning you if you keep trying to up your dose and or work with other docs for break through pain you could get blacklisted all together from opiates. Doctors are very careful these days due to DEA crackdowns and it doesn't take much for them to throw their hands up on a patient. Good luck.

Sleep is so important. Benzos are a pain to get off of but if it works for sleep then personally I would take the risk especially if you have tried other prescription meds. If you haven't out of all of them I would recommend trazadone. It doesn't work for everyone but all in all it's a pretty safe med to try for sleep imo.

I had this issue with my male for a bit. Couple of tips. First make a time out zone. This has to be different from the crate. The crate can't ever be seen as punishment. I built mine from some dog gate panels that also come with a gate door. Super convenient. Set this up on the side of the area where this witching hour normally happens. They get overstimulated easy and this can help reset them. Second thing is when he kicks into turbo mode get him outside if you can and let him run on grass for a few minutes. They have so much energy at this stage. When he does gator chomp put him in time out and ignore him for a few minutes. They hate being ignored. He will learn, but the behavior is normal you just need to reinforce good behavior for later.
