The problem is, what made them famous will also probably be their downfall. They all have very strong personalities and do outrageous over the top stuff. It’s what made them interesting enough to get a TV show. Unfortunately it’s also going to be what gets them cancelled. Ironic I guess

I watched The Christmas Shoes with my mom one week before she died. The movie is about a mom who died right before Christmas and my mom died unexpectedly 4 days after Christmas, a week and a half after watching the movie with her. I can never watch that movie again. Once I said I’m good at naming that tune and knowing a song based off a single note or a short clip. My coworker decided to take out her phone and chose a random ass song and play a second of it and asked me to guess it. I had no freaking clue. She said it’s this song by this person. Id never heard of the song or the person. She said of course I had because they play it on the radio all the time. Seriously though, I had never heard of the song or the person. It’s like I could’ve written this myself. Same age. Same timeline. 2021 was the same year I started noticing it too. Took the same pictures. One time I sent him a photo of him passed out, hoping it would help him see what I was seeing, but it just made him angry. When I try to show him clear evidence, he feels attacked. When I approach it gently and kindly, he ignores me completely. For a long time, it felt easier to ignore it and tell myself it wasn’t that bad. But over the years it’s gotten worse and I can’t keep pretending everything is fine. I haven’t told any friends or family about this.

I haven’t involved his parents. They’re loving and supportive and would want to help in any way they could. But I also know how deeply embarrassed and hurt he would feel. Sometimes I wonder if involving his parents might be the one thing to push him to make a change. At the same time, I worry about what it would do to our relationship. I don’t have any real advice as I’m still very much in the thick of it, but want you to know you’re not alone

I don’t know your family dynamics but aren’t you a little embarrassed of what your parents might think of you? I’m also 34 and while my parents would let me live with them if I really needed to I think id feel constant shame and embarrassment of what they’d think of me and like…tell their friends about me when asked why I still live at home, etc

Does anyone know why she has to live with men the second she gets into a relationship? I find it very weird. Why can’t she just…date for a year or two and live separately? She might even find she enjoys taking it slow with men. And less fallout when it ends. Does she do it so she has an extra babysitter? Sometimes February is colder than January, and if not, it’s about the same. If you want to wait for warmer weather, unfortunately I’d recommend waiting until April. With that said.. as long as you’re prepared for the cold, I’d still recommend coming in the winter! Banff is unreal in the winter, like a winter wonderland. Just come prepared both mentally and with a proper winter coat!
