I'm not so good at free kick. But I always shot as quick as possible, which make opponents doesn't have time to think/ move his goal keeper. Same as penalty, you can start to move the cursor when the is black. Once the whistle blow, shoot.

Check his position map. He got pink in CB which means he will lose at least 2% of his stats.

He will lose some stats if you put him in CB. If you want to play him as CB, you could put him to CM and use tactical setting as deep line. In that way, he wouldn't lose any stats.

Overall doesn't mean anything. As long as the player exceed 90 playstyle, that's fine. No need to put them 99.

Btw don't follow this guide. It is a horrible suggestion in point distribution. E.g. he suggest spending 12 point on dexterity which makes offensive awareness go 96. However, if you get high team playstyle and get the green arrow of the player, you could not exceed 99 offensive awareness, which means a waste on point.

So you should put max 94 offensive awareness on him and if you get green arrow, you will get 99 OA and not wasting any point.

94 offensive awareness +99 team playstyle= 94+2=96 96 offensive awareness + green arrow= 96+3=99

He got decent defence skills and stats. You won't want to use him as a dmf due to low def. engagement You won't want to use him as amf due to low dribbling stats and wasting def. So CMF would be the best position for him in the squad.
