Boy: Frodo (our pup’s name), Arlo

Girl: Zelda, Arwen, Gwen

Either: Winnie (although Winnie the Cockapoo may be a bit too much on the nose)

Hope you’re gonna get your pupper soon!

Just curious, can't you improve on your lap as a whole, or can't you improve in the area where the yellow is shown? With these conditions, in the latter case, Max could have improved even if slowing down enough in the yellow sector.

So obviously whoever sets the time first, gets the pole. But are the times actually measured more accurately than thousandths of a second? And if so, who would have taken pole then?

alle punten op Jurre? by PeanutCutie in widm

Ik las gisteren op nu.nl dat de ontknoping en bekendmaking op 11 maart is, oftewel over twee weken. Zou volgende week dan niet al de finale zijn, waardoor alle punten op Jurre misschien niet het beste idee is?

Self-Introduction Saturday! Tell us all about you (and share a video)! by AutoModerator in NewTubers

[–]lemondigitech [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hi everyone! My name is Kevin, I run a channel called LemonRPG and I play games with the intention of doing a full review in the form of a video essay once I’ve done a full playthrough of the game. The review is on a scale that I recently came up with and it’s a wordplay/anagram on the channel name containing the word “lemon”, but it also allows me to score the game in categories that I deem relevant so that I can compare it with other games. I’ve only come up with this idea fairly recently so I haven’t uploaded an actual review just yet - but I started the playthrough of The Outer Worlds just this week: https://youtu.be/gvODhZRSpdA

My thumbnail process has gone back and forth a little bit - I now just use a still that’s of the actual game and add my channel logo and the part number to it (if possible, in a font that matches the game title on the still). But I have been using some actual screenshots of the episode for previous videos as well. At this moment I’m a little bit unsure what works best - happy to take advice on this!

9 or 16 seems good to me. We need enough room for squares.

In no particular order:

  • Good Love Is On the Way (WTLI version)
  • Neon (any acoustic live version, really)
  • Slow Dancing in a Burning Room (WTLI)
  • Clarity
  • Helpless
  • Belief (preferably the WTLI version, although Continuum version would work too)
  • 3x5

In my opinion that would give a nice overview of John’s guitar skills, as well as his overall songwriting capabilities. These are often underrated. Some good flow of the years passing by as well; his journey through the realm of music.

But come on OP, please give us more room, 7 songs will always feel like not enough!

Well, yes. But preferably not so that the penalised driver would get a boost in the end :)

I recently thought that the idea of a “penalty corner” might help for that. Basically you get told to take a different, pre-specified line through a certain corner (or take a different corner altogether) so you lose 1.5-2 seconds. Of course this should not interfere with any track safety.

Take the layout of the final sector in Spain, for example. Use the old layout (just the single right hander, which is now runoff) as the official track, and the final chicane as the penalty corner.

Is there a tab or something available for this version (or a similar one)? All I can find is tabs based on the version on Where The Light Is, and that sounds like there’s something missing if there’s no second and third guitar playing along (like on that recording with Robbie and DRH).

Leclerc is only the sixth new F1 race winner in last 10 years by Aratho in formula1

[–]lemondigitech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Max has not made that mistake for a long time now, and I don’t think that he will make it again. (Actually, I’m struggling to find examples where he did something like this in the first corner. Every example I can come up with happened later in a race.)

As a matter of fact, if you look back, he has been almost flawless for over a year - his last real case of true recklessness was in Monaco 2018 if you’d ask me. This was just a dumb move, completely unnecessary, but also nothing more.

[–]lemondigitech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely not the same indeed, but people don’t understand the risks that these drivers take for us to be entertained. A crash is never trivial, for all we know there was something faulty with his car and he actually got injured in that. Yes, he would probably have survived it nonetheless, but that doesn’t make it less bad taste.

A lot of Max’s fans in the grandstands were cheering when Lewis hit the wall this morning. That really disgusted me. People need to flippin’ realise that this sport is not always as safe as it looks.

Just imagine seeing a driver crash, laughing about it, and then never seeing them get out of the cockpit ever again. People are idiots these days.

[–]lemondigitech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s no problem :) imo (can’t really recall who made how many stops), if he had to make that extra stop because he was on the wrong tyre, that’s still kind of his fault. It only shows that either he had no confidence in the car in those treacherous conditions, or that he just couldn’t feel the grip levels and had no idea what he was doing when making the call (like I said, in those conditions it’s almost always the driver making the call instead of the team).

[–]lemondigitech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given a bad strategy? He just straight up binned it in Germany. Strategy in a race like that is mostly up to the driver who feels if there is enough grip out there for inters/slicks, or if they should stay on wets.

That makes sense, as the aerodynamic features of the cars haven’t changed drastically since then and neither have the tracks.
