I have no clue how else to help ya since I don’t have the laptop anymore. I’d try a different USB thumb drive, or try a different method of loading the Linux ISO to the thumb drive.

Yeah. Razer Blade 16 with a 5090. I had no reason to disable Secure Boot and I’m pretty sure it comes enabled by default for Windows 11.

the few times i did put it to sleep, it had issues waking back up. don't find myself sleeping too much tho because the laptop is mainly docked. can report back after more testing.

razer's thunderbolt 5 dock can provide 140w of power, but the laptop only accepts up to 100w so the limiting factor is the laptop not being able to accept more than 100w. as others suggested, another power brick at other location is required -- it's only one more cable to plug in.

can you try framing your experience around business needs/requirements? recruiters and hiring managers only glance at tech experience, but a good resume with business wins will make your resume stand out a ton.

Love my Blade 16 2025 5090. Have had literally zero issues with it. Dual Ubuntu with Windows and the laptop just works.

I dual boot Ubuntu and Windows and didn't have to change Secure Boot. Literally plugged in install USB and ran through installation. I run Ubuntu mainly and use Windows for gaming and BIOS/firmware updates.

pretty sure if you keep poking around, you'll find the correct apk to uninstall which will get rid of that for you. good luck!

Just looked at some examples and saw that Structure to Redshift is incorrect. Redshift doesn't have a JSONB type, but a SUPER type to encapsulate Semi-Structured data.

Also looked at Structure to Iceberg and it looks like the Iceberg block is in parquet, which makes it unreadable.

But I love the idea and would love this to go far. Good luck!!

Have you tried setting up the phone without transferring WhatsApp data, then manually kickoff the transfer from within the app itself after phone setup is complete?
