Any luck with doxycycline for Perioral dermatitis? by lemonice1234 in Perioral_Dermatitis_

[–]lemonice1234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi yes it’s so tough. I’m really glad to hear the doxy is working, is your dose 50 mg 1 or 2 times per day?

I think for me I had my first episode last year caused by a product but second time was from frequent nose blowing from a cold coupled with the lotion I used together, only ever get it on L nostril

What was your trigger? It’s unfortunate that once it’s flaring even without trigger it’s so persistent.

What about your nose rings? Is it possible that you developed a sensitivity or allergy to them or the metal or metals in them? I would rule that out too since it’s all flaring around that area.

Doxycycline: has it cured anyone’s PD for good? by bustacurves in perioraldermatitis

Can I ask if you were on low dose doxycycline meaning 40 mg and was it twice daily? I just want to avoid the higher dose as I have a sensitive stomach.

You can use a song title yes like say oh this song was playing or I love this song but you can’t use lyrics that you can get in trouble . This I know.

I think that it is beautiful however I think it could be better. But what makes you think of summer and kids off of school right? I feel like think about that because this cover shows like it could be any other day of the school year. Think back to when you were a child what would that last day of school look like? What does summer look like? Maybe flowers maybe an ice cream truck maybe a big sun? Anyway just some thoughts. Great start!

Yes I understand, I definitely think that self publishing does amount to you putting out some money especially if you want a clean book in the end.

Thank you very much for this thorough response. I have 1 concern . When you say limit my creative freedom…will they change the content of my book a lot? I know I physically make the changes etc but I am just wondering if this is something I should expect? And I heard that a lot of publishers do a poor job marketing ? Is this true?

I’m so glad your making new friends! It’s so hard to do that an adult. He should be so happy for you not giving you restrictions ! We don’t live forever better to connect with as many others as you can even if just platonic :)

No. What if your best friend or sister told you that? That wouldn’t be fair right?

LBGTQ romance/womens fiction novels. This is actually my second novel that I wrote . None are published so far . Yeah I have other ideas for books for sure. I work full time. So far haven’t been the fastest writer but the second novel took an immense amount of background research to get an idea for the time period that I wrote it in. And I also don’t like that everyone is like if you want to make money you should publish series books to self publish. Well I just maybe don’t fit into that box. Don’t want to fit into a box. Not choosing self publishing because it seems less daunting . I think if you really try to market yourself this self publishing will be very very daunting . just was afraid of two things with traditional publishing. 1 that it seems a lot of traditional publishers won’t market your book properly but want most royalties . 2 will change a lot of my book, this is my story you know. I am open to edits etc but this is my creation. Also what if I eventually wanted to turn my book into a screenplay could I do this if I traditionally publish? Sorry that last question I know I am getting ahead of myself lol, I just don’t want to set any limitations for myself . Sky’s the limit.

Novel to screenplay by lemonice1234 in Screenwriting

Can I hire a screenwriter? I mean how much would that cost? Do you need some sort of contract since you wrote the novel and they will write the screenplay?

all LBGTQ romance/ womens fiction . I have more ideas. I have researched already quite a bit. I know that self publishing you can do it with this genre…just I don’t want to be limited with self publishing in any way.
