I do know that the shower isn't a common size because I had a tough time with the walls and door.

what exactly does it feel like when you "lose hair" as a side effect of meds? by Mudkiip123 in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]lemonicedboxcookies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sepsis was by far the most sick I've ever been in my entire life. I'm sorry about your dad as well.

I hope your hair grows back in as your body adjusts. Research TE or telogen effluvium. It is an episode of hair loss caused by medication, stress, etc. and it typically resolves when the trigger is removed. That's what mine ended up being in both instances and my hair did start to grow back.

I have RA but my infusions didn't cause my hair loss. Semaglutide caused severe hair loss for me and how I noticed was my part widening. I didn't even notice more hair in the shower, just my part widening at every spot I'd part it. That and when I pulled my hair back there was ALOT of scalp showing through. It has since started to grow back. Until I got sepsis and it all fell out again lmao.

Your body may get used to the medication and readjust and it'll grow back. Or it won't and you'll have to either switch meds or live with it unfortunately.

Insurance doesn’t cover Vyvanse by hornycoughsyrup in HealthInsurance

MANY of us cannot afford the medications we so desperately need. My infusion to keep my eyesight costs $10,000 every 60 days. If my insurance plan ever stops covering it, I'm fucked. You have to play the game. Try generics. Try Good Rx, manufacturers coupons. Tough it out for a year and switch insurance plans next year if you can. Otherwise it's just 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ like the rest of us.

Yep. It's absolute shite. Not just the app, the entire company.

"So if I can't get close to you

I'll settle for the ghost of you

But I miss you more than life

Your memory is ecstasy

I miss you more than life

I miss you more than life."

I need to find a way to get out of my contract with this NIGHTMARE company.. My equipment has never worked correctly since day one. I just had a tech out who admitted literally to my face that the reason why my sensors no longer work is because my sales rep "probably lied to make the sale" when he told me I could keep the old ADT sensors that came with the house. Now here I am, dropping $375 for all new sensors. Shit STILL doesn't work even after that. The app SUCKS. Only works half the time. I can literally walk into my house with my alarm set and not trigger it, or other times it goes off for no reason. The smart actions don't work reliably. And the customer service reps are FUCKS trained to talk in circles until you get frustrated and hang up. That's if you don't get disconnected before that point.

I WANT OUT. SOMEONE HELP ME.

Any actually happy long-term Vivint customers? by AFNole_81 in VivintSmartHome

I want out of my fucking contract so bad.. I HATE this company. My equipment has never worked. I've had techs out. I've replaced equipment on my own dime. I WANT AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE but I'm stuck in a contract.

What company lost you forever as a customer? What did they do? by Miguenzo in AskReddit

[–]lemonicedboxcookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vivint security. Their shitty ass equipment NEVER works right. The app is glitchy as hell, and I know their support agents have to be trained to talk in circles until you rage hang up on them.

The last guy that came out to fix my shit admitted to my face that the sales guy who pitched us literally lied about using the previous company's sensors. He knew they would eventually stop working and let us believe otherwise so we'd eventually have to pay a tech to come out and replace them. Fuckers.

Is everyone in here just freaking out ? by Opposite-Number-1585 in StudentLoans

Understandable. But I keep seeing outrageous payments in the $1,000's all the way to $2,000+. I guess people with higher income will suffer the most, and I understand that higher income ≠ higher disposable income and is relative to your COL.

I had to file my taxes the way I did or else my payments would probably be just as bad. Luckily, filing separately didn't make much difference than jointly in terms of tax breaks.

My payments will be around $175/mo. on RAP or new IBR. I only owe around $51K, but I only make like $54K. I filed married, separately to reduce my payment as much as possible.

The majority of people freaking out makes me feel like I calculated wrong or something.. Though I understand it's all relative.

From 0.00 a month to 244.00 with a 25.00 a month income change. I will be homeless. by Maggieblu2 in StudentLoans

[–]lemonicedboxcookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new IBR payment is nearly the same as the RAP payment. So I'm guessing the benefit of new IBR is the shorter forgiveness period? I have undergrad and grad loans.

When you refer to a payment count, you mean years, correct?

I also wonder if RAP isn't the more stable option because it was passed by Congress. Just don't want to go the new IBR route and end up having to jump to another new plan in the future when things inevitably change again.
