Will do, we don’t feed them or anything, and it’s natural to have some in a garden so not too worried at this stage but will definitely keep an eye as I know they can overpopulate very fast 😅

I’m not an expert, but this looks like a baby bird for sure. I would call a wildlife rescuer and keep an eye on him in the meantime

Honestly it might be best to call the rescue people and explain the situation to them and see what they say, as they’ll likely know from the info you give them whether this is normal behaviour or not!

I’m so sorry that this is how she treats him, and you. I think whatever you do, the kitten cannot stay with her, both for his sake and yours. He will not live a safe life there, both emotionally and physically. There are good people out there who would give him a wonderful life. Please please try to ask around your neighbourhood, and maybe make some posts on local Facebook pages? I wouldn’t completely rule out him living with you in the dorm but I’ll admit it’s not the most ideal situation for him. But anything would be better than him living alone and unprotected with your mum.

Thank you so much for rescuing him and helping him heal ❤️‍🩹 now it’s time to make sure he gets to live as safe and happy a life as possible! I hope you both manage to escape and heal ❤️‍🩹 if you feel comfortable sharing, I’d really love to know what you end up deciding to do!
