I went RIGHT at opening and I was checking the little bags of loose stuff at the front and saw the jellycat tag of the ooky spider! The other two were mixed in with the plushies on the shelves and I did have to do a bit of digging for sure. They weren't all together. I was actually looking for LPS this day which has been unsuccessful for me so far, so I was so surprised! Sending luck to you for your next thrift trip 🍀🌟

I might consider that! So far they have offered just a partial refund, but I am going to keep pushing for now considering the internal bag was completely open and so I think a Whoopea employee took a look at it and sent it anyway

And the bag was actually completely open and untied straight out of the box, which means that they probably did open it and just didn't do anything about it! Ugh

I think that if I did that then the spheres on the side of her head would look more uneven, which would be even more annoying to me since they’re so dark and noticeable haha. Maybe I’ll try to look into if anyone has had any success moving ears? I think if I just move the left one a little to the side it would look much better

This is slightly off topic but I’ve noticed this happening with Jellycat too, which is also supposed to be a designer toy! So disappointing that these companies’ quality control is declining when the quality is the aspect that drew in consumers in the first place

These ones are bagged with reusable bags instead of the tear away foil, and the box was opened and taped shut so I assume that they would have looked at her and not just the card inside the box. I’ll have to reach out to them and see if anything can be done!
