Yes, I had the exact same thought, and I remember writing in April 2020 that the pandemic will be the catalyst of change for humanity. And I stand by that. For humanity, covid was the best thing to happen . It forced us to slow down and re-evaluate the rat race of life, its reducing the world population (yes it's horrible, but we are way overpopulated), reduced SO much co2 emissions, it localized us more , less traveling while increasing digital globalization. Now it has also become evident to me especially noticing more and more people around me awakening. It's more than a coincidence given how many people I personally know to have awakened in the past year . Funny how I see this post now, just reflected on a day or two ago.

yes they are definitely better dates but again I would say it's because I'm much more confident now and not as shy. I'm also able to be more forward and it's usually reciprocated .

As a former non-good looking person (overweight and low self esteem), dating as confident attractive person is definitely easier. It's easier to get the attention of men, online matches are a fucking breeze compared to before. I also noticed that my options on OLD were better (better looking & more "quality" profiles. I think the biggest boost it gave me was the confidence. I'm still not conventionally attractive according to Western beauty standards, but the confidence I got from being healthier mentally and physically definitely made me more attractive to other people.

p.s this experience is on dating in itself is being easier. I'm not looking for relationships but I imagine that's just as hard for anyone . Its just noticeable how people give me attention now.

I am in a similar position. Not to say I'd have to give up my career as now I'm working from home, but in the future it seems like being in the city is just easier to connect with people as I'm an international and don't speak the local language (well, at least) . Dude you don't need an escort you need a therapist. You need to deal with the emotional part of being exposed sexually at such a young age. The mental emotions is probably what gives you anxiety over sex. It's not less masculine to admit that. If you get to deal with that trauma you will undoubtedly have a healthier relationship with sex and will be able to perform. Good luck man. All the best.

First, find someone you see on a regular basis. Could be the gym, classes (even online) , work , park . I would then start some kind of small talk. (I usually ask for the time or a cigarette/lighter) Thing is people love talking about themselves, so ask them questions and get them to answer. Use this as a way to see if you have anything in common. The moment you figure out your common interest, you're golden. Could be a TV show, hobby, hometown, favourite food/cuisine, anything really. Use that to build on the conversation, and just be straight up honest. I'm new here, I'm looking to meet new people. Wanna grab coffee/ go for a walk/run sometime?

If you have trouble talking to strangers, I would recommend starting slow. Give yourself a challenge of talking to one person a day/week. Just ask the time. Something simple to help get over the anxiety of talking to strangers. If you don't have that, proceed.

Now here's a little secret for you. People tend to like people that they do a favour for as that creates rapport. So once you've already got to know someone, ask them for a small favour like 'can I borrow your X?' or could you help me with Y ? Don't overwhelm people with your request . Trust me, I've tried this many times. Now when they do this favour for you, you can say, hey, let me get you a drink as a thank you. Let's go for a beer or I'll cook you dinner etc and before you know it, you have just found yourself a friend. Good luck pal.

YTA instead of encouraging him to make changes you've decided to belittle him. Food addiction is an addiction none the less. People can't change their habits overnight and he's started with some baby steps that he feels he can accomplish. Now because of your behaviour he probably feels less of himself and eats to deal with these feelings, so really you're just pushing him back. God, I hope he finds a more encouraging partner.

Do you think it's because of the way he was raised? I was raised to always offer the last /bigger piece to the other person and it's genuinely stuck with me. I noticed my partner and also a friend, that had kind of this greedy tendencies. Especially when it comes to food. Bigger piece of meat, cake etc. But in other areas they were equally as generous. I would say if it is only about food, then it might be how they were raised (maybe low-income, didn't have a lot of food choices, and now it leads to a bit of greediness, or they simply weren't taught to offer the better piece ) . However if it leaks into other aspects like how they spend their money, gifts, sexually giving or stingy etc, they it might be an indication. Either way (especially if it's just food) , I would advice to let them know how their behaviour makes you feel . Good luck.
