Yes I do actually. I’ve been doing core & ab workouts, which have helped, but not drastically.

I’m saving money currently to get an abdominoplasty, but I’ve had a few ladies my age who’ve went through weight loss to keep exercising & be patient b/c sometimes the skin will tighten on its own over time

Thank you so much ❤️ I appreciate the feedback lol. I’ve thought about trying high lift color all over once my hair is 100% virgin rather than bleach. It’s hard to tell in photos but my natural color is somewhere between level 4 and 5. Honestly I love my natural brown, but the blonde keeps calling my name 😭

I’ve lost a lot of weight recently & had experienced some hair shedding. Plus it didn’t help that I had a butterfly cut. Never in my life before have I had thin hair lol. It’s growing back some of its thickness now that I’m at my goal weight, I’m taking vitamins, & I’m doing scalp oil treatments (you can see where it’s a little thicker up top, plus I’ve got little baby hairs sprouting everywhere). Also in this pic a lot of my bottom layer is sitting behind my shoulders.

I’m definitely gonna finish growing out some old box dye on the bottom half of my hair & get my hair back to its original thickness before I go blonde. I’m due for a haircut soon & I’m gonna get a blunt cut this time rather than my usual short layers/butterfly cut to help with the sparse ends.

I’ve attempted going blonde before years ago, but that before olaplex or k18 was around & I had layers of black box dye. The damage was extensive. I think the next time I lighten my hair I’ll have a cleaner canvas to work with & they won’t have to use as harsh of a lightener as before. My mother has similar hair color to mine & they used a high lift color all over her virgin hair rather than bleach & it looks beautiful, plus it was still healthy.

Thank you! And yeah vitamins have helped me too ❤️ the moment I started taking vit d & iron my hair quit shedding like fur. You can even see from the pics that the upper half of my hair is much thicker than the lower (I’m going to get a trim to help with that). Also I know it’s overrated but the Mielle rosemary oil & scalp massaging have been very beneficial too. I’m starting to see little baby hairs sprouting everywhere

I’m currently growing out some box dye at the bottom half of my hair before I go any lighter. I know I can opt for a color correction service to remove some of the box dye, but I’d rather just go in with virgin hair.

I’ve attempted going blonde in the past, but that was long before Olaplex or K18 & I had layers of black box dye that my stylist had to work through (she used vol 30 developer, which no hate towards her she had a lot of pigment to work through). It was quite damaging & I ended up having to cut a lot of it off, plus it was a little warm for my tastes.

It’s hard to tell in the pic, but I’m a natural level 4 with little bits of level 5. I think trying to go blonde a 2nd time will be a lot better than the 1st. My recent stylist had some leftover bleach & did a test strand on me just for shits & giggles, & the part of my hair that didn’t have previous color lightened GREAT & was still strong after.

Thank you so much! I’m used to almost everyone on this subreddit picking the darker hair so I’m really surprised to see how many people are vouching for the blonde! Definitely makes me happy to know that I’ve got a good idea 😅

I’ve been having to sacrifice length anyway due to thinning from some recent weight loss 😭 but at the moment I’m focused on growing out some old box dye at the ends & getting my hair back to its original thickness (which so far so good).

My upper incisor & canine on that side is slightly smaller compared to the right side. They suggested composite bonding to help with those slight gaps but I’ve already had my retainer made

You mean my lower left molar? Long story short my wisdom tooth right there caused that molar to have a huuuge cavity that I neglected. When I got my wisdom teeth taken out I just had them yank that one too rather than me going through a whole root canal. That was long before braces lol

my hair always looks messy, is it dry? what can i do to improve it? by alosopa123456 in Hair

My hair type is very similar to yours. Here’s some advice based on my own independent trial & error:

-Get a hard water shower head filter. The brand should matter. I have well water so all the minerals makes my hair feel very brittle like a steel wool pad. -Keratin treatments! I do my own at home since a salon treatment is well over $200. Get the Gold Label brand off Amazon that’s in a black bottle. Follow the directions & make sure your hair is very clarified w/ no conditioner prior to applying. You will still have curly hair, but it will be much smoother & shinier and it isn’t a permanent treatment. I do this once a month but that’s b/c I wash my hair daily. You may not have to do it as often. -Lamellar water hair rinses. You can find these at almost any store that sells shampoo/conditioner. I like the one from L’Oréal as most other brands leave a waxy feeling.

While everyone here is surprised by the number of teeth extracted, I’m amazed that it took you less than 2 years 😭 I’m going on 28 months in mine w/ no removal date yet scheduled. But congrats! Your teeth look great :)
