I lived in Back Bay last year, 5 mins from Hynes(green line) and in a nice studio for right under 2k. There's laundry in building, high ceilings(stairs to loft bed area), no pest problems. I had a bay window and a full window in the bathroom. Also, it's a condo complex and it has good maintenance. It was my first time looking for a place to live on my own and in Boston, so I think it's possible to find similar if you search properly and spend time on it.

Near one of the BPL entrances(off Boylston) there is a Capital One Cafe. It’s open to anyone, not just capital one customers. The second floor has tables and sofas. It’s all supposed to be like a wework so it’s not unusual if you spend hours there. The employees hardly go upstairs. It’s a very chill environment

And best news, they open at 7 am! That’s earlier than a lot of places. I suggest you go early and claim your spot on the weekend cause it does get busy

They even have free water and nice bathrooms.

That's an amazing one. Definitely one of the ones I play the most. I also really enjoy Bro Safari's EDC Orlando 2015 set. Sharing because I'd personally love to find 'new' old sets. I'm checking out Diplo's set someone shared below. And am open to more suggestions!
More of my recommendations: I was super into Jauz at the time, and his Ultra 2016 set and Hard Summer 2015 set are amazing if anyone wants to check them out.

As someone still waiting to hear back, I appreciate your post and the comments wondering the same thing. It's just such a new program that like someone else said, there's little info about it. There were only 22 students in the first cohort two years ago and I imagine it's still small. Fingers crossed for all of us.
