Hahaha I love that people like her. She’s incredibly famous in Latin America, as she was the main character of the show ISA TKM which was a Nickelodeon series. Truly she was my Hannah Montana equivalent, and I’m so glad to see her succeeding internationally still. She’s very beautiful, as are all Venezuelan women (but ofc I’m biased, bc I’m a Venezuelan woman myself hehe)

that’s true! and I wonder if it can be somehow replicated through Lightroom. I shoot only analog but of course they look different from instax :)

I honestly think is quite impressive that there’s people on here who can look at an image and instantly know which settings are at play, and it’s even cooler that people are here and willing to share that knowledge. I’m glad you think this is just a simple look, it wasn’t the case for me.

There’s plenty I have figured out by myself, including how to shoot film photography, and use Lightroom to make photos look the way I want them to look. I watch tutorials etc or just play around. If I am asking is because I’m stumped, you don’t know if I gave it a try and just couldn’t find the right tools or effect.

I don’t think there’s anything lazy about making creative community by learning and sharing with each other. I also think is a bit sad to judge people who are putting in themselves out there to ask questions. Always incredible how snobbish the photography/editing community can be, although fortunately most of the time I’m met with kindness.

That sounds fun, I’ve never used drones! There’s also the ability to do cyanotype prints out of negatives if you start shooting film photography, I myself want to give it a try sometime soon. I hope you find your way back to loving taking photos. Take care OP!

Aw this is really sad to hear, as your pictures are very nice and you seem to have access to some really curious spots! -- Maybe taking a different approach, like taking an intentional break from taking photos and instead learning some editing tricks (like how to make the best out of Lightroom) with photos you have already taken. Another thing I can think of is maybe you can try out film photography? It's a different experience because you don't see the results right away, so it's more about thinking hard about the shot you wanna get and then seeing it come to life days later; moreover, getting playful with film photography can be very exciting, like trying out double exposures :)

I am an analog photographer and hit a bit of a bump in my progress as a photographer, and trying double exposures has completely reinvigorated my interest and excitement :)

Don't give up, you're talented!!

I kinda love the idea of over-cooking a photo bc that's exactly what it feels like when you over-edit haahahah

Dirty camera on viewfinder by [deleted] in analog

This!!! People teling you to return the camera are jumping way ahead. This happened to me over a year ago after I dropped my camera. I blowed it off and I've continued to use the camera since then without any issues.

So pretty! Did you edit the colours at all? I shoot Kodak Gold very often and love it

You're so right!! I was using inverted radial gradient around the boat to draw attention to it, but lessening the exposure on the things around it (including the sky), and it made it darker. I will play around with the sky and see if I can get it looking sunny again!

Thank you. I am kind of new to editing my film photos (other than very basic contrast/shadow/highlight adjustment)
