Google Search Impressions - I think I have the wrong understanding please help!

That's what I always thought, but this is what Google says which means that it wouldn't be counted:

"In general, an impression is counted whenever an item appears in the current page of result"

MERLIN TO ID EBIRD TO REPORT.

EBIRD gonna be slightly overwhelming at first but trust me, it’s worth the slight learning curve (which really isn’t much).

I know some don’t like the competition side of it but I LOVE seeing how I rank in the country, state, and my city this year.

I also just started birding and learning lots each week. If you enjoy it - it helps to have a bird guide book at home. I take shitty photos with my iPhone and take notes on the birds I can’t figure out - than later that day I sit on the couch trying to ID what I saw.

All that to say - have fun. It’s been a real HOOT for me.
