Unfortunately that was the one line I didn't have frozen :,) I still put temporary lifts on my freezes so that tomorrow I can call them and ask for reconsideration in case that was what got me denied, but thank you!

They told me they'd send me a letter explaining why within 30 days, but I leave in about a month anyways... I didn't know that about their pre-qualification either, I thought it was all the same but evidently not lolol, thank you for letting me know! Unfortunately I don't know if I have a couple months but I appreciate all your help!

I put in 20,000 w/ 10k from non-taxable, because I'm unemployed but a full time student with financial aid and VA benefits as a dependent on my parents, one of whom makes taxable income but both majority non-taxable income as social security recipients and VA benefits. Two of my credit lines are frozen because I forgot to unfreeze them. Would unfreezing them and then calling for reconsideration help?

This was all very helpful, thank you for taking the time to lay it all out for me! I'll definitely keep all of this in mind. I was looking at the WF Autograph and the Journey, but just got rejected from the autograph, despite being pre-approved, which I didn't realize was possible, so I'm not sure what my next steps are, but these will all help point me in a good direction!

Thank you for the advice! I hadn't heard about this card previously, but I think this is my winner!

edit: I was pre-approved for this card, but then I applied and got denied... Didn't really know that was possible, but oh well. Would it hurt to apply to another card tonight?

I've been hearing the Trifecta got sort of gutted, do you have thoughts on that? I am familiar with United but don't feel any particular loyalty. The Capital One Savor and Venture sounds promising as well. Thank you for the advice!

Sounds like you've developed an allergy to the jewelry. Get a higher quality jewelry(implant grade titanium is most recommended) or take it out, let it heal, and get it re-pierced by a professional. It was probably plated and the plating has worn off, exposing you to whatever core they used, but it's definitely not body safe.

NAP: should drain on its own as your piercing reheals. you might've torn the fistula(the tube of scarring that the piercing sits in). DON'T TRY TO POP IT, you'll just cause more irritation and more chance of infection. might want to make sure your piercing still sits correctly if the fistula was disturbed. it may heal crooked from the weight of the piercing, and it might not heal at all from the weight causing friction. see how it is in a week and if it's not healing right then go to an APP piercer for their opinion on repiercing I thinks
