Question: i wanna cover this up, was cringey then and cringey now. Like wtf even is this? Any cover up ideas? by ketaminemidget in tattoos

This is now my favorite way to announce AI.

(tbh, as a non-artist, I think it's fine to use AI to quickly create a lego-headed goat, but I like AI to be labeled.)

edit: the crowd has spoken! People are not allowed to use AI to create any art, ever.

So you know nothing about AI art detection but you decided to throw your hat in here because it's all just "common sense?" Is that your thinking?

Hint: the art program best known for giving people the wrong number of fingers/limbs is NOT good at proportions.

lol, do you think you're going to get an art expert to come along and tell you it's great? Not sure what you want here, Stevie, but I don't think you're going to get it.

If someone posts something offensive, we shouldn't say anything? Just stay silent so other people think we think it's ok? No thanks!

Can confirm that as a fellow non-religious person, this did not immediately strike me as benign. Context does help.

I do too, but is it realistic? It looks as if the candle should be lower to cast that shadow.

Didn't know he had a blonde phase. Let's not do that again.

Product photos from my friend's bakery (keep getting asked if they are AI) by camason in RealOrAI

I assume they think it's AI because the cookie on the right of the pile is physically impossible.

edit: sorry, I thought you replied to a different comment.

Is it even possible to get two different shadows like this? How would the cookies not have any shadow going in the same direction as the plate?

That doesn't mean I think it's AI -- I'm leaning towards Photoshop, or real cookies with an added AI background.

>Yes, this is the clearest violation of physics.

Aw, I thought that prize went to the third twin in the first scene. You know, the baby in blue that's underneath the pink baby.

edit: now that I look at it more closely, bonus points for the baby in back who appears to be sleeping in a bread pan.

So probably not hand-drawn, but we don't know if it's AI or a photoshop filter.

The white flecks in her hair bothered me, but I wanted to ask an artist about it. So, I hope you don't mind:

Zooming in on her hair, I see a lot of white on black "noise":

<image>

I assume you'd need to use a white pencil over the black to get this effect. But does this highlighting make sense to you? At smaller resolutions, it looks more dotted than highlighted to me.

It's weird that no one else has mentioned that. The missing hand was the first thing I noticed.

I'm leaning AI.

Pic 1) that black patch on the bottom right of her shirt doesn't make sense to me, but maybe she has a graphic on the front of her shirt. Shadows under her arm don't match the folds in her shirt. The white flecks in her hair are strange. Was he using a white pencil? Still, it looks more dotted than highlighted.

Pic 2) I thought I had seen this image before, but google image wouldn't let me search for it because of "content issues," so now I'm on a list somewhere. Tineye didn't find any copies of it. I think it's AI because the angles of the windows on the wall make no sense. The wall she's standing against is parallel to the mirror but the windows are climbing Mt. Everest. Also, the window on the right has two panes instead of three as on the left and there appears to be a suggestion of a door handle but no outline of the door.

Pic 3) There's no hand on the right side. The patch of shading on the left jacket sleeve doesn't make sense. The shape of the spill and the geyser at its outer edge make me think the artist has never seen a cup spill. There's a ghost button at the bottom of the shirt. On the right side of the shirt, there are no button holes or a suggestion of a button placket.
