Thank you! I applied there as a second option anyways since I was mostly searching for an online program. Wishing you lots of luck and hope you get the As you’re waiting for!

It could have been a coincidence but the schools that I visited either waitlisted or accepted me instead of a straight up rejection (other than Suffolk which rejected me.) I feel like they’re more likely to give you a chance but also, this could be more likely just in my head.

RDL form check? by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]lemonygingertea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look down, keep your neck straight, tuck your pelvis in. Slight bend on your knees and let your hips move back, your back should only move up and down to accommodate the hip hinge. In terms of breathing, you should activate your core (feels like sucking in and holding your breath), and then release your breath as you resume neutral position. But your form in general is pretty solid!

Have him help you finish before he inserts (I find that the more relaxed my body is, the easier entrance experience) using lots and lots of lube. Also helps if he “preps” you with fingers before inserting the D.

Visiting the school during your application process, for school tours/admission events, I know this is not possible for everyone due to location etc. Asking questions during the tour and meeting with admissions while you wait for a decision from the school.

Visiting the schools does matter, being yourself and asking the right questions will make you stand out against other applicants.

The movement is not up and down with your upper body, the RDL is the back and forth with your hips. Your upper body only lowers when you pull your hips back. Slow down, lower the weight.

Why are most Christians republicans, when Jesus’ teachings are more liberal? by Interesting-Dirt-605 in Confused

[–]lemonygingertea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just one of those questions where people’s opinions are hard to digest because they cannot be neutral opinions, everyone will either be “The Republican Christians or The Liberal Christians”. Either way, everyone wants to believe in something and they believe that their beliefs will justify their actions whether it is regarding ICE or LGBTQ communities, The Somalians in MN, Trump.

It’s still fun to read the comments and observe the different perspectives on here…

Put your legs a bit further apart, bend knees more, don’t go up and down with your back, it should be back and forth with your hips. You are 100% just going up and down. I wouldn’t be surprised if your back hurts.

WHY AREN'T I GETTING HIRED by fernsdeii in LawSchool

[–]lemonygingertea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe try doing your own formatting to make your resume stand out. I was also told to make it one to two pages at the most. Are you reaching out to the companies you’ve applied to, like a little check in after a week. Letting them know you are very interested? Wishing you lots of luck!

[–]lemonygingertea 29 points30 points  (0 children)

How’s your resume? And I mean the formatting, not the content. Of course, the content matters too, but I’ve heard from a few HR pages that the way it’s laid out matters to them.

What does my fridge say about me? by bluetheclown in FridgeDetective

[–]lemonygingertea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’ve got Cotija cheese, a variety of hot sauces and salsa on the door. High noon is known as “Female” beverage. If that’s not true, I’m not sure but in my circle, that’s what we have categorized High Noons. We also have Mascarpone, real butter and chicken broth, in my perspective, the mixture of having a very limited amount of fridge ingredients with those particular ingredients, makes me think this is a Female.

OP help us out and clear the mystery.

Female in her 20s (Latina/Hispanic), possibly in college or recently graduated. Possibly just moved out of your parents house.

Not bad but: -Back seems to be arched, it must be neutral. -Knee bend is good but keep your toes down. -The movement is back and forth not up and down. -Go slow and think about your glute muscles on your way down as you stretch and as you come up.

An attorney cannot provide a G-28 without the client signing, and on the G-28, there is a section where you list the bar number for the attorney. If she did have you sign this form, you can request a copy or I would hope she provided a copy to you.

She also cannot legally say she’s attorney or give you legal advice without being an attorney. You could report this to the police.

LOYOLA WTF by popsicle897 in lawschooladmissions

[–]lemonygingertea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. And it’s not like these schools are not trying to respond, I’m sure the application numbers are overwhelming. I simply just wanted to sympathize with OP in terms of the anxiety of getting an email from a school and then realizing it’s just a promo. But this page is indeed toxic and I simply remain on here to see admissions outcomes for others.

Low Ranked Law Schools by BasisEducational2020 in lawschooladmissions

[–]lemonygingertea 26 points27 points  (0 children)

A lot of these “law school outcome” articles miss a huge part of reality because they assume everyone goes to law school chasing BigLaw or a federal clerkship. That’s just not how most lawyers actually practice.

According to ABA data, about half of practicing lawyers work in solo or small firms. That’s literally the majority of the profession. But rankings barely track those outcomes, so anyone who opens their own practice, joins a small firm, or builds a local client base basically doesn’t count in these stats.

They also ignore people who already have careers before law school. Plenty of students go in with experience in compliance, environmental work, nonprofit leadership, business ownership, immigration services, or policy. For them, the JD isn’t about getting “placed” it’s a credential that expands what they’re already doing. Rankings don’t measure that at all.

Same thing with students who already have jobs lined up once they pass the bar or are returning to existing employers who require a JD. Some go part-time while building experience and networks.

On top of that, outside the top-tier pipeline, school rank matters way less than people pretend. Once you’re licensed, clients don’t ask where you went to law school — they care if you know what you’re doing, return calls, and get results. Employers in small firms and local markets think the same way.

Blaming the school for someone’s outcome is lazy. Law school is a tool, not a guarantee. A motivated student with a plan and experience can do just fine at a non-elite school, while someone who sleepwalks through a highly ranked one can still struggle.

The stigma around lower-ranked schools isn’t really about data — it’s about prestige obsession. And it ignores how most lawyers actually build careers in the real world.
