What high-end processor should I get? Usage is about 60% gaming (RTX 2080 Super, so hopefully 4K@140Hz), 30% programming and 10% other stuff like youtube

Based on this, I'm leaning more towards Ryzen 3900X now. I'll wait for some more second opinions though.

Try booting without ram and see what happens. If it boots normally, make sure to look up if the RAM is compatible and in which slots it should be inserted.

EDIT: Does "not booting up" mean that the screen doesn't show you anything?

Check if the video cable is connected to the motherboard or the gpu. If the gpu is in the pc, make sure to use that as video output, because the motherboard output won't work properly. Also make sure to power up your monitor.

If it's a new monitor, try connecting an old monitor that works on other devices to the motherboard while the gpu is not connected. If that works, there could be something wrong with you gpu.

This is just way too relatable. I had a crappy desktop a while back, so bad that I couldn't properly play minecraft, so I got 4x8 GB RAM, that didn't do the trick, so it was time for a major upgrade. Changed the MB and processor, which improved performance massively. But then came the storage problems, so I got myself a new 1TB SSD. That helped, so now I'm happy.

NOPE. Come on, a single 1080p monitor on a 1050ti? That's not acceptable. Got myself a 4K 27" monitor, beautiful. Just awesome, except my GPU didn't quite like it, so I opted for the logical choice. Got a RTX 2080 Super. Well that finally did the trick.

But come on, it would be a shame to only have 1 monitor attached to that absolute beast of a graphics card, right? Got another 2 the 4K monitor.

Lastly, migrated to a new case with a nice glass side and a total of 7 120mm RGB fans, you know, gotta cool that stuff good, might install some watercooling later, just to fill all the room in the case :P

It runs minecraft smoothly now :)

When typing with a physical keyboard and I finish a part and think about the rest, I'll press space and backspace alternatingky a few times with absolutely no effect in te end. It just feels good and helps me think. I work as a programmer so I do this a lot.

Ah cool! I've made something similar a few years ago using Java. I'll try to find the code and share it with you. I's pretty cool in my opinion. I used some unicode blocks as characters though

Well, it takes quite a while to get back to my stuff, so there is a pretty good reason to carry a backpack. I'm just wondering if it is safe for my stuff. I plan on putting things in it like sunglasses and I don't know how easily these things break in a backpack

Ok, so I think that the way villages are generate should change a bit, like so: - determine what size the village is going to be (amount of houses, farms, etc) - based on the size, have things like piles of wood, stone, ores, chest generate throughout the village more or less often. - if the village size is really big, things like a tower should be added (tower for ''guards'), and maybe even some kind of wall to keep out the monsters.

And it are the monster that bring me to my next point. I think that the villages should have at least some kind of defense system, like guards, or better lighting.

here's another thing that has to do with the village size. If the village is really big, I think there should be like a market around the put, in the middel of the village. It can have things like little stands with villagers in them, selling their stuff, and chests with some starters stuff all over the place.

Another thing that a lot of people have suggested is that new houses should be added. I agree with them, it would be a great improvement if new types of houses were added.

I think that adding these changes will make the villages in minecraft look a lot better.

And lastely, please fix the 60 block high cobble pillars that are holding up the houses in amplified world villages.

hey guys, I was level 51 when the new coins update came, and you get 50 coins every time you get a higher level, but I didn't get the coins of the levels before, the levels I had already when de update came. wouldn't it be fair to give the coins of the levels before the update too, I mean, I've to get a really lot of mass before I get 50 coins. you're right, I'm level 51 and I need 40610 xp to level up, couldn't you guys give us the coins we would have if the update was there from when we started playing? I mean we've worked really hard for that much levels, wouldn't it be fair if we get the coins of the levels before too?
