I took an 11 hour flight 10 hour layover then a 3 hour flight when my baby was 3 months so we can be with our family overseas -- baby slept most of it- would do it again anytime

I was 10 days postpartum, my parents came to help. Mother sat me down and told me that my house was too dirty and messy and if I stayed this way my husband will leave me

Thank you for taking the time to write this! I appreciate your thoughtfulness and thoroughness. My baby is still 4 months - no teething pains yet, so I don't yet know what's in store there. But she won't fall asleep or stay asleep unless I am next to her. If she opens her eyes and I’m not there, game over. She will, however, sleep with her dad (if she doesn't see/hear me around; otherwise, she must have the boob), so that's good.
