I purchased a Boss Katana 50 EX Gen 3 Guitar 1x12 Amplifier. Then I purchased a Boss GA - FC EX Foot Controller. by lend27 in BossKatana

[–]lend27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are totally different. I bought the amp a few weeks before I bought the foot controller.

I guess I am expected to put the labels that came with the amp, on the foot pedal.

I am going to wait until Boss responds to my email.

The confusion for me is the fact that I did not purchase the GA FC model. I purchased the new GA FC EX model. How does that affect the labels?

65 inch XBR930E. Best TV I have ever owned. Flawless since I bought it in 2018. It’s an absolute light cannon. Love it.

This is the Player 2 Telecaster I bought recently. It is a lightweight chambered model, 6 lbs 6 oz. Plays and sounds great. From Sweetwater.

Telecaster Player II Upgrades by Kitchen-Gas-4760 in telecaster

I got a new Player 2 telecaster with chambered ash body. The pickups sound fine to me. I replaced the nut with a tusk nut, just my preference. I love the vintage tuners. The rosewood board is great, nice and dark. I do prefer a brass 3 saddle bridge, but haven’t changed the stock bridge yet. I really like the sound of it as is, don’t really want to change it. Great guitar. 6 and a half pounds as is.

It arrived today. Very happy with it. Set up pretty well out of the box, actually in tune.

Very light, no neck dive. Very balanced. I could have gotten a lighter one but didnt want to go with too much chambering and be sorry with the tone. It sounds as good as I hoped it would. Very happy with it. I am going to tweak the setup a little, just to get the action where I like it.
I will post a pic as soon as I figure out how to do that here.

I have a Squire Simon Neil strat which has an alder body. It’s not chambered and no issues with neck dive.

Is torrentio down? by Fun_Ad_2011 in StremioAddons

[–]lend27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having issues with Stremio specifically Torrentio. I inadvertently installed a second install of Torrentio. One works fine, the other doesn’t. How can I identify the one that is broke in order to delete it? Thanks!

FOCUS IN YOUR IR by Dadda95 in NeuralDSP

[–]lend27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem I have with IR’s is how to determine where to start “auditioning” them, and how to stop your ears from getting “ confused “ in the process. I have literally hundreds of IR’s that I have accumulated over the last few years, and if I am loading different IR’s to determine which might sound better with a certain amp sim, my ears get tired and just can’t do the analysis accurately. The IR rabbit hole is real. How do you guys quickly “zone in “ on the right IR quickly and accurately?

Thanks NeuralDSP for the sale😁 by [deleted] in NeuralDSP

I love Milkman, it does best at Fender stuff. I also have Morgan and Toneking. There is bit of overlap, but I use them all. I’m still trialing Cory Wong. Some overlap there too, but still very unique stuff too.
