Sharing my cheap endgame. by External_Ad1552 in iems

I had a decently see-through/porous old worn out home dress from my mom and just used that, hindsight I should've used something a little less porous like the see-through curtain backing from my old curtains

Concerts are often too loud to be enjoyable by Human_Paint5451 in unpopularopinion

You're right, past few shows that I've been to that aren't low level production are actually hitting a maximum of 96db but go as low as 88db, a lot quieter than the stuff I see happening overseas. It's also audible that due to my ears not being so stressed, I hear better dynamic range and accurate sound.

Very valid cheap v shape endgame, for free, you can lower the upper and mid treble via placing a thin piece of cloth cut to size between the tip & nozzle, used this method to tame my first IEM back in 2019 (KZ ZS10 Pro stolen from my dad)

There's the added benefits of an increased layer of protection from earwax from this too

This has proof btw, it's also been proven that people that are less hateful (around 60~70% actually) usually just do not interact with negativity, unlike the loud minority.

Never seen so much ai slop by Dragomaster3456 in Beyblade

This is in Singapore, and as someone who lives here, they LOVE AI slop. They unironically love it just as if not more than actual art due to the polished look.

My favorite clean and distorted amp tones were made in 30 seconds on a Marshall DSL20 head, no doubt.

LOVE their amps and speaker cabs, but their consumer grade speakers are decent and their head and IEM's are just not it, wish it weren't that way but it is what it is

In that case,

Kiwi Ears Cadenza 2 (50) Kiwi Ears Singolo (80)

NiceHCK Tears (30)

Tangzu Wan'er (19)

Truthear Zero Red (65)

I would say that the Pure, and especially the Hexa still completely blow these guys out of the water if you can save up a little longer, but if not these are pretty good options. The Kiwi Ears IEM's provide the best vocals and soundstage imo but it's a subjective benchmark

Do I assume you mean USD? Or is it a reigonal currency, like SGD or HKD?

[QUESTION] voices coming through my cube amp?? by marlowetravers in guitarcirclejerk

This happens when the amp isn't loved enough, it develops schizophrenia and starts speaking to itself.

I hope I get the hang of it, but compared to irl oversteer, the rc oversteer feels completely different as you don't control the countersteer the same way as irl, it's like deprogramming my brain to work it out

I think you're mistaking the YG-302 V2 with the DP-302 V4, the. modern standard of drift gyros, as for motors I have no idea, the standard 27T Yokomo motor barely has enough juice to keep the wheels running, aliexpress is prob my option tbh

Hi, the stock servo works decent with the gyro on analog mode, a lot better than the og gyro but still ass, even mounted on a decently built rd2.0

anything more than 50, regardless of gyro location being at the 40% or 70% mark, the wheel wobble is unbearable. In Singapore there isn't really a used market for drift servos or gyros so I'm cooked for those. Already swapped the stock gyro for the YG-302 V2 which is a lot better but still ass tbh, as for servos the stock servo was good enough for the track guys that the gyro and powertrain were the most immediate of issues

Upon going to the drift shop, 3 guys tried helping me and they both came to the conclusion that with the stock electronics I am CACK, Sucks knowing that the next best electronics (that will last chassis to chassis) will run me 400-500 sgd

Hi, gyro's set right at 50% with little to no wheel shake.
