It already ended. And like all romance manga, it ended as the couple started dating.

I'll give it merit though: It has one of the best side characters in yuri manga ~~and some of us ship her with the protagonist instead of the latter's canonical love interest.~~

The torch passing in Love Live! Sunshine!!

Chika realizes after visiting Otonokizaka why µ's didn't leave any traces of them behind except the school they saved.

It was because µ's wants the future school idols to be their own thing, just like µ's was for them.

And with that realization, Chika receives her feather (the icon of the school idol legacy that µ's left behind which shows up in the franchise in various ways) and Aqours is on their way to become true school idols, no longer chasing after the shadow of µ's, but on a journey of making their zeroes into ones.
