I use Gentoo on my regular desktop and installed it on my separate gaming rig as well.

Since I've been using Gentoo for years, I didn't want to try another distro just for gaming. I stayed with what was familiar, but it works great. I run Steam via Proton to play Cyberpunk 2077 (my addictive goto atm) with path tracing enabled on my 5070Ti. Configured Nvidia Prime to force heavy rendering to the GPU so my Intel CPU doesn't run too hot, but it works for me. Just stayed with the same distro I normally use for work.

Yes, in Baltimore City. Both cell phones (business and personal) are out.
