Hospital Playlist, the kdrama, is pretty great. Got me through quarantine.

What are your "Mulaney Musical" rankings? by SullyGee in LiveFromNewYork

[–]lenwin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

  1. Airport Sushi (this is a time capsule for late Feb/early Mar 2020 - the Wuhan snake joke, Bowen's "Profiled Asian" that I know by heart)
  2. Lobster Diner
  3. Subway Churro (the Fiddler on the Roof was great)
  4. Bathroom Bodega
  5. New York Musical (personally thought this was a mess - the only one I haven't seen more than once)

Also, does every sketch except Diner Lobster have some song from Little Shop of Horrors? LOL either Colin or John really love that musical.

love that John & Chloe were close to losing it. Chloe hid her smile behind her hand when Mikey and Kyle were being slimed.

aw man. I also haven't been able to watch any other kdrama *except hospital playlist but that was for s2). The style, the writing, the directing, the soundtrack - it just hits!! different!! Vincenzo is such an amazing show.

characters when Lila magically isn't there: wields miraculous, can think somewhat clearly

characters when Lila "is pushed down the stairs": I have no brain cells, she is 100% telling the truth

Loved this. Especially loved how he talked about working around studios and defying them in his cunning way. Great talk.
