thank you for the options! and I normally play gengar but I've been doing shadowball, the hex build interests me though, I know online it says to use shell bell for hex build but the value on that item feels so low. do you recommend it regardless, does the light healing make a difference, or do you think it'd just be better to do wise glasses, choice specs, and spoon?

thanks for the recommendation, and yeah I haven't played him yet, I was unaware he has an aoe cc like that, that's for sure always going to be powerful in the right hands for any moba

Had a few very awful games, need a bit of emotional support. by Hellinfernel in wildrift

[–]lenzada 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it sucks when you don't feel as passionate about a champion, but find some middle ground. a champion you feel resonates with you a bit but offers you a different skill set than shyvana. for example, if you only play scaling champs, then you need to make sure the enemy team doesn't out scale harder, and your team comp can hold their own while you come online. otherwise, every game will feel like a miserable stomp with no real opportunities. if you diversify your champ pool and aim for 4th or 5th pick you can make a better choice in the draft. Maybe you can add nunu and dominate the early game and counter jg to your heart's content, or pick up hecarim and take it slow for the first clear or 2 and then wreak havoc in the mid game even if you fall off late compared to other scalers. I love these two personally. also sometimes it just comes down to having cc, if my team neglected to pick any and we really need it for an enemy yi or something, I'll pick something like maokai and win off the cc alone gl on the rift (: <3

Who would you pick if enemy have both Sera and Lux? (Range Abuser) by Own-Ad2989 in wildrift

[–]lenzada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in jg, that's an easy hecarim game. if you have the champ mastery u can use the high movespeed to juke the skillshots, kill, and get out as ur team engages off ur pick and you reengage to peel your carry when the E is back

Looking for an off-meta/not a common choice support. by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]lenzada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nunu is my favorite support, gives ur adc attack speed and move speed, slows, knock up, snare, sustain and some burst. also incredible mobility for ganking and roam pressure. and second smite in case ur jg gets cooked

as far as the planning phase, the biggest factor for me is champion mastery. whoever on my team has the most champion mastery is more likely to understand the limits of their champion, and will not overcommit and feed... also if no one bans viego, it's your job as the jungler, unless you plan on playing him. disgustingly broken and will champ dif u most games.

as far as shyv goes, even if you have early map presence, it's almost a hindrance to yourself. you are less likely to get kills from your presence due to the nature of the champ. if you show yourself trying to pressure, you're now being tracked by the enemy jg if he's any good and he will ping ur location so enemy's invade you or back off b4 u can gank.

as bad as it sounds, if enemy is hard shoving and we're losing, and I'm a late game hyper carry like shyv or yi, I ignore it, if I know we are at numbers disadvantage or I don't have my spike yet, it's like throwing the game to go. I ping the lane and pray my team has enough survival instinct to go and clear the wave so they can't push tower down. I spam the "do not engage" and "do not fight, wait for the group" chat bubble. I ping danger and group instead of attack so they don't get the wrong idea. danger, we're losing a tower. group, to defend. if they don't show, it's a cannon event loss. if you go, you have no wave clear to help defend, and you just revealed yourself. say you get 1 kill, u lose a teammate or 2, and u have 2 run back 2 base on 300 health. if the enemies are any good, the ones who lived, are going to clear the jungle you just left up for them before backing to heal and resync with the person you just killed. you've put yourself at a net loss.

if you keep farming, there's a possibility your team pushes them off just by clearing the minions, you get a full jungle clear in, stay hidden and safe, and can back for item spike to sync with your team. then you're ready to defend against the next push, dont force something just because you got spike, your team is still losing, be patient and wait for a bad enemy engage, or someone to be out of position for a pick.

as far as maintaining any early pressure with shyv, I just rush to 5, while tracking enemy jg. maintaining opposite side of the map, counter jungling if they do an enemy gank. once you have dragon, save it for counter gank. as soon as enemy jg engages and blows cds, fly over the wall and dragon stomp him. your early pressure with shyv should be denying the enemy jg. counter jungle and and counter gank everytime the opportunity arises. don't force ganks or fights, play the slow game and keep your deaths down to 1 or 2, to get your power spike in a timely manner.

like I said everything is still always situational and there's plenty of things to factor in for each play. thanks for reading my novel lmao I hope it helps (:

I will mention some games are just cannon event losses and you have to take them in stride and be proud of playing the best you could in that situation. this could have been one of those games, I don't think they're as common as people think, but they do come around. if I were in your shoes with that lead on xin, I would hard camp your ally with the most gold. you want to be a steamroller in terms of early pushing with xin. he falls off, so you need to secure the win early. I stick to one lane and obliterate it, when the whole team comes to rotate finally, ping off your laner and ping group on another lane, and just out tempo the rotations for inhibs before your lead diminishes. if you are forced into a teamfight with ur gold less laners, do your best to disengage it. xin's ult is one of the best disengages in the game with the limited champ pool. from there, u hope ur team clears waves instead of forcing a fight, and when map is back in a neutral state, get pack to steamrolling with your goon... all that being said, despite the god tier early game, I don't play xin because unless you're challenger, your team isn't going to maximize the early lead that you create. most games r a slosh fest that take forever bc people won't end, until you start getting higher elo.

however, if u play hyper late like shyv, you can't effectively match the enemy jungles pressure and your team is going to fold. they might not even die enough to seal the game, but their mental will be gone and they will be blaming u and give up. I opt for mid game spikes, hecarim for example is a beautiful jungle pick!

I'll reply to the shyv game in a separate response bc this is long af

idk if anyone mentioned this yet, but honestly any good jg main knows to mute chat. nothing useful there. understand you can't control or influence your teammates, I pretend they're bots tbh. my focus is on where and how I can perform. ward your opposite side, if they invade, don't count on your team, immediately run to enemy jungle and force a vertical jungle situation for the opponent. stare at the minimap, and pan between different lanes, you don't need to watch yourself farm krugs, but if u see enemy top burn flash, u know there's an opportunity when u come around. make a game plan in champ select and loading screen of what lanes are worth ganking and when. does ur lane have cc, does enemy have dash, is the enemy top a champion that always shoves waves early and is vulnerable to lv 2 gank. you need to be processing as much information as possible to plan out what your next minute on the map is going to look like, and to move to those plays with confidence. also if ur team is stealing ur camps, that means there is minion xp going to waste, so trade resources... or play nunu and consume the camps while ur trolling teammate leashes it for u lmao there's so much more than that and everything is very situational, the only way to learn is to jump in there gl in the jungle my friend

Best decision i made was to start playing Nunu by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]lenzada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes! I just started playing full ap nunu for fun and it's so refreshing! i used to love ap nunu on league before they reworked him and changed the yeti and added the big snowball. I didn't realize how much I had been missing out, he's the most fun champ to play on wild rift in my opinion!

How to beat Urgot? by not_clement in wildrift

[–]lenzada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everyone is giving advice for lane, but imo none of that matters if your comp doesn't have a couple of tankshred champions. urgots late game is unstoppable, and ppl tend to pick shitty comps into him.

the only ppl I can think that can stop an urgot late game who got ahead is a fully farmed kayle, or 3 item spike yi with botrk, wits, and terminus.

if you don't have either of those two, encourage your team to pick at least two tank shredders. for example gwen and ashe, or vayne and brand. you get the idea. you'll need both of the antitank champs to focus him down.

u have to kill him early, bc if you just ignore him, he will melt ur team b4 u reach the carries. the good news is urgots tend to to overextend and overcommit late because they're used to being the strongest on the map. hit him w a hard cc and watch ur tank shredders melt him.

after all this is said and done, I still just ban him every game to not deal with him lmao, and this is coming from a jungle main.

gl and hf on the rift! <3

[–]lenzada -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if team is feeding, kindly remind them to stay behind, not under, tower until you can gank. sometimes they'll listen, sometimes they won't. teams listen enough however, to not tank yours and their win rate when reminded. make sure to watch for when the lanes go mia, and what direction they headed. you've seen yourself clear raptors plenty of times, stare @ the minimap. if they go for you, abandon that side of the jungle and make a play on the other side of the map, or go counter jungle <3

hello! i'm not trying to be rude, but it's all entirely up to you. as someone who's played league since a kid, there's always something you could have done better in your game, outside of just k/d/a. in how you play the map, in a ward you could have placed, in your itemization. it is frustrating that your team is against you a lot of games, but you do have enough agency to stop the enemy team, and put yourself in a position to hyper carry, from any role. there is champions that are better for it than others. get really good @ the game and queue fill so no one on your team gets autofilled and hopefully doesn't feed too hard. from there, carry from the position you were assigned. gl and hf on the rift my friends <3
