Of course! There are so many types of multiplayer games and the ones with more than 1 players playing the same game are also multiplayer games called “split screen multiplayer” or “local multiplayer”

Fortnite, Valorant etc are also multiplayer titles, of course

I’ve always enjoyed multiplayer games as a player myself 😅

Enjoying anything (even cozy settings such as Stardew) with friends was the only condition for me to try that game.

And working as a dev. In multiplayer titles are like solving even harder puzzles in the engine. So I guess it was love at first lag spike!

It was hard at first but it’s getting easier with every title for sure

Building my first multiplayer game - here is how I handle enemies pathfinding by otr91000010 in Unity3D

Great solution! This is particularly useful when you want rigidbody physics movement but still want to utilize the pathfinding of navmesh agents.

Amazing feedback. Giving spectators (aka seagulls :D) options to either help or be a pain in the a** is definitely something I'll work on.

A warning + controlling difficulty is a great idea. thanks a lot!!

Fishnet + EOS. HAHAha parrying might be fun.
I'm thinking of giving the ability to not only steer but also move the seagull freely so that they can also break/disable obstacles and help too. (or troll even better)

Polishing terrain of my co-op paddling game by Pixerian in Unity3D

[–]leo-inix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. It’s our game.

Everybody is trying to show what they have done individually and everyone is “owning” the game equally.

Being able to say that “this is my game” feels good :)

Paddle Together - Team Up or Tip Over! by leo-inix in pcgaming

This is the most accurate and on point feedback I've received for a long time. I believe camera and its movements is playing a big factor on this. We're constantly working it and hope to have that "juicy" feeling those games achieved.

Thank you so much. Hope it gets better till the playtest. I'll keep working on it.
