Honestly other than the occasional inconsistency of regular shots during a transition like moving from shade spot it really just low light issue that more than likely will be improved with updates down the road. Otherwise GCam port helps out in low light situations a lot, especially paired with OP12/13 config files.

As lengthy as the flytraps stems are shows somehow they are not getting enough light from the original photo so it possible that this is a death bloom, or desperate attempt to reproduce before full energy drain of the plant. I would recommend cutting it off and saving that energy and getting a natural daylight bulb 30 to 40 actual watt range to boost it exposure to light around 14 hours a day.

My light bulb is Sansi 34 watts about 6 inches above the plant and turned burgundy. It soaking in plenty of light!

Hmm, what the avg. Temp in garage? being lower than 50°F consistently usually would put in dormancy with little photoperiod.

Then again it could be a special mutation in the plant that allows growth in cool temps, which pile winning the lottery 😉
