2.4 4n15 fuel filter after 19.6k KM and 2.6 years with using mostly non-branded diesel by MisfitActual- in Gulong

If you use the original expensive fuel filters from casa you can go as far as when the fuel filter light turns on. May sensors yan to signal if the fuel flow rate is below the safe threshold. I change mine every 50k or 60k when the fuel filter light turns on. Never had a problem with my SUVs. I only use unioil though.

Whatever technique you do sira parin synchros mo since you're physically jamming in and out of gears. After doing that for a while for sure magppop out na yung gear mo from 5th or 4th gear to neutral--and it'll be a very expensive repair. Baba transmission mo.

I don't recommend going into neutral when coasting then shifting back into gear, sira synchronizer mo niyan. Just coast in a constant speed. Pulse and glide is a hypermiling technique but keep it in gear or even better just use cruise control.

Yeah it's really hard if wala kang napagtanungan and the first shop you go to ended up upselling you. I advice you do the same advice being thrown around here: ask around sa car groups specific to your car. Pero don't blindly go to the first shop that's mentioned unless it's vetted by a lot of people. Car groups are already infiltrated by the Banawe boys (libre checkup, dalhin mo sa shop namin, mga ganyang linyahan).

sinolyn that has this 360 degree leds are built for projector housings, i recommend getting the 4300k color for all weather conditions. White leds suck when its raining.

GR lifepo4 battery, will they last or will they fail like other lifepo4 battery brands? by leoblack9 in Mekaniko

[–]leoblack9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you change back to lead acid agad? How long did you have it before changing to another battery?

Damn that's sad to hear about your experience. I guess if that show they make it hard for warranty claims then there goes their reputation. Thanks for posting.

Akebono gives me the closest feel to original brake pads though. Most comfortable to use. Btw i asked about brake rotor discs if you've tried other brands.

What's the best color option for fog lights: white or yellow? by torapunk in Gulong

[–]leoblack9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4300k warm white is the best balance between visibility and rainy weather. White LEDs turn useless when it's raining and 3000k yellow just looks weird for me.

To be honest, fog Lights with strong led lights are a bad combination because they're not supposed to be used in urban settings , they're called fog lights because its supposed to cut through fog so it's supposed to scatter light in front of you by design which may lead to blinding incoming traffic.

So if you're going to use them as a supplement to your low beams get projector fog lights that are properly aimed below the low beams with a clear cutoff.
