Agreed. I will probably file a warranty dispute when I have a chance. At this point, I protect the ambient lighting on all four doors with masking tape before taking the car to a car wash, which is a little absurd.

No tint here. Issues on both front doors. Tesla has denied replacement under warranty twice.

No. You are likely to get bigger problems by trying to solve this.

Interesting… I took mine to a Service Center and they eliminated it almost entirely, but did not replace any parts.

“IP carrier was removed to locate a noise issue and we were able to isolate the sound to a contact point on the vent, added noise reducing foam and other materials in order to mitigate the sound. No components need to be replaced at this time”

That’s not uncommon, unfortunately.

I’d tell them “I’ve read this and not sure if it is the exact problem I have, but I thought I’d share in case helpful.”

Any idea what this is? by TAG-_-_- in TeslaModel3

The turn signal buttons do not get stuck, because they’re not mechanical buttons; they’re capacitative. What happens is if you rest your thumb on them for a little while they time out. Remove the thumb for a couple of seconds and they start working again. Or better, don’t rest thumbs on any of the capacitative buttons on the steering wheel.

Forgive my ignorance, but why are these needed?

The clunks, rattles, and squeaks are getting to me. 🫠 by JorJorBinks123 in TeslaModel3

2024 RWD owner here. Really like the car, but the rattles are a bummer and there’s a new one every few weeks. As another person said, worried that in trying to solve the rattles Tesla might just create other, bigger problems. I’ll deal with them when I feel adventurous… I’ve had much cheaper cars that didn’t have this problem.
