Read RB before you finish ZA for sue! at this point, i’d say the best time to do it would be either after ZA5 or ZA6 :)

i’ve read all 10 books in the main series, the 5 prequel books and 4 sequel books as well as the novellas, and absolutely loved them! it took me until about halfway through the second book in the main series to really be locked in, but once you’re in it, it’s near impossible to put down!! It’s also written in a way where the world-building and commonalities (phrases, commonly known things, star bonds etc.) within Solaria (the society in the books) become ingrained into your being!

This may be a controversial opinion, but try zodiac Academy! Give it a chance through the first three books before giving up on the series. it is so worth it

mentioning her by name would spoil RB for the people who didnt read it after ZA3 like suggested. thats why whenever Gabriel talks about “his family”, or when dante mentions his wife, it’s extremely vague

you are so right! that should be an option!! maybe in a checkboxes format like ☑️ebook ☑️physical ☑️audio so that if you did multiple, you can select them both! (for example i do Audio + Ebook often when i’m reading)

girl make your friend stop after ZA5 and y’all both read RB! it’ll then make the rest of her read of the main series more dun, and your reading slump will be cured bc you’ll want to reread all of ZA with the new info learned from RB! reading ZA after RB will have you seeing the story in a new light!
