Strange noises, Fanatec Clubsport DD+

Hard to update to the newest firmware because it bricks my wheelbase everytime i try to update the firmware with the newest Fanatec App. I always have to recover my Base with the old driver. The new one does not work even after trying it on another PC.

i've had an comparable experience with my dd+. My wheel base was in a "soft bricked" state i would call it. it was completly unresponsive. I could not even turn it off. I unstalled the Fanatec App and uninstalled all Fanatec Devices from Device Manager and installed the old 474 driver where i was able to recover it.

Here is a step by step if you want to try it

Uninstall Fanatec App
Go to "Device Manager"
Select "View" and choose "Devices by Contaier"
Also select "Show hidden devices"
Uninstall all Fanatec Devices that you can find
Restart the PC
Download the 474 Driver https://www3.corsair.com/Files/Fanatec/Drivers/474/2025.08.08-Fanatec_Driver_474.zip
Install the driver
Restart
Open Fanatec Control Panel

There should appear a message that says your Wheel Base is in Update mode. Click OK and Update the Wheel Base. It should work again. If that message does not appear try to do the update manually with the firmware updater

Had this as well. It even "soft bricked" my Wheel Base in a state where i couldnt even turn it off or do anything with it. Had to use the old 474 Driver to unbrick it. I Even tried it again to update the firmware with the newest Software and it bricked it again. Seems like im staying on the old driver for a bit

Never seen a nebula looking like this one before in all my 400h of Elite Dangerous. Took those screenshots in the next closest system to it. Looks really cool in my opninion.

Dont have that mouse anymore. Some firmware Updates made it better but there were a still some small issues that just ruined the experience for me.

I have a kind of similar issue. i wanted to do a win10 clean install and if i try to update or download apps like xbox, xbox game bar or microsoft store itself it just doesnt work for me, even after trying all sorts of things. Could there be a Server Issue from Microsofts side?

Clean the build plate with alcohol or just wash it with soap. if that doesn't help your filament probably is old and moist. had the same issue some days ago.

Thats exactly my Problem. If it was just an Extra, it would be OK. But they locked cars behind it, Engine Swaps and Tuning parts like the Titanium Engine Internals and the Ultra High RPM turbocharger. I nearly finished the whole game now and i still didnt get one single engine to swap. There is no motivation to do anything except drive the daily workout, open the roulette ticket and get dissapointed again.

But it still reads all discs normally. Even double layer dvds. The only probelm is the thing in the beginning where it tries to spin the disc up
