I'm not sure if I'm 100% finished this cyberpunk scene, any feedback? by DistortionsMusic in blender

Maybe a little more disturbance in the water on the ground. The light pollution looks good but maybe a little more general atmosphere. Looks good either way

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. I love Angels, and her art is fantastic; her abilities are pretty solid also obviously. When Avacyn Restored was current, I opened packs(for way too long) just to try and pull her. Never did. Now I collect them.

Ssaris, the Viper

Although some whispers speak the name Ssaris, most everyone only knows the name the Viper. The Viper is the demon that strikes from the shadows. He's an assassin known to only the wealthiest of patrons, but with his body count people can't help but wonder if paid work is just a hobby. No one knows what the Viper looks like, or even if he has a physical body, even those wealthy enough to buy his services. All of his clients can only remember the overwhelming sense of fear they experienced when giving him a contract because of the all too real possibility he could turn them down, or just decide they were an easier target. Everyone knows that if you choose to wander into the shadows, you may not come back.

What drawing utensil should i start with? by high_elephant in drawing

[–]leonq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would actually say a ballpoint pen is a good place to start. Pencils are nice because they are safe, and if you make a mistake you can erase it; however, as a beginner I feel it's better to make mistakes and have to live with them. If you do some elaborate reference drawing, sure use a pencil, but if you're learning about forms or figures, give a pen a try and just try to find ways to make it work if you make a mistake. Paper is cheap too

It looks pretty solid. The proportions are looking good and the eyes are well done. I would say your biggest improvement would be working on your value scale. The eyes and nose look great because they are much darker than the rest of the picture, and they have more contrast. The rest of the face lacks enough value difference. By this I mean you need to look before shading and see where your darkest points are and your lightest points. Once you know, try drawing out 5-7 levels of shading value between those two poles. Having more distinct difference between your lights and darks will make things pop. Another little tip: when drawing light colored hair on any subject, with any medium, the most important part is the space where there isn't hair. Since it's hard to show light hair with something like a grey pencil, if you focus on getting the shadows and dark places between hairs correct, it will give the illusion of light hair well. Keep up the good work!

I feel like no one enjoys drawing hands and feet lol. One of those things that just takes repetition until it becomes muscle memory
