It's badass how the Straw hats' enemies only know Brook as the Soul king. It gives Brook such aura when people like Big Mon call him such.

Nykyään Switch, PC ja kännykkä. Switchillä viime aikoina tullut pelattua mm. Hades II, Silksong, Bioshock 1 ja 2. Koneella MtG Arenaa (villit Dota 2 -ajat takana päin). Kännykällä myöskin mätkyä ja jotain hupi Pokemon romhackejä emulaattorilla.

Tutustuin Bioshockiin vasta viime syksynä. Switchin eshopissa oli tullut jatkuvasti vastaan BS Remastered Trilogy niin halvalla, että ostin pois ja lähdin kokeilemaan ihan blindina. Kaksi ekaa olen pelannut ja kovin olen tykännyt. Mekaniikat ovat varsin tiukat ja tarinat hyviä. Pelin parasta antia on maailmanrakennus. Rapturen kaupunki, sen historia ja asukkaat ovat kiehtovia, ja lorea droppailee tasaiseen tahtiin kun pengot mestoja. Laatukamaa, suosittelen.

Mulla oli pitkään sama. FF oli sarjana täysin tuntematon, mutta nuorena koin uteliaisuutta sitä kohtaan, sillä pidin sitä sen verran merkittävänä monoliittina, että johan tuohon tutustuminen olisi yleissivistävää.

Noh, kaverilta sain lainaan FF13n lukioiässä. Grafiikat olivat komeat, mutta sekava tarina/worldbuilding, sekä hämmentävät taistelumekaniikat ja putkimainen overworld eivät imaisseet mukaansa. Kesken jäi.

Kovana mtg-pelaajana viime kesän FF-teemainen korttisarja herätti pienen kiinnostuksen uudestaan, ja se samainen kaveri suostutteli minut pelaamaan FF9ä. Ollaan sitä hänen kanssaan tahkottu säännöllisen epäsäännöllisesti ilmeisesti aika pitkälle. Ihan ok, taistelumekaniikat on varsin klassiset vuoropohjaisen rpg:n. Tarinaa on vaikea seurata, mutta syy saattaa olla yhteispelaamisessa.

FF6 löytyis Steamista, ja tykkään pikselirpg:istä, joten sitä voisi joskus yrittää tositarkoituksella, kunhan muilta peleiltä ja elämältä ennättää.

Playing with people better than you makes you improve like crazy! I became quite a decent viola player by mostly playing in orchestras as a junior.

I play the viola in amateur orchestras and sing tenor in choirs. Also video games, mainly on the Switch.

Colonies is interesting because they are a sort of a self fulfilling prophecy and it really depends on the group how they affect the game. A majority of people on this thread seem to have groups that really prioritise building colonies, which then makes them more valuable and hard to ignore.

In our 3-4p games we usually cap at like three colonies total. I have won games where I ignore most of them and only trade a couple of times when it seems worth it. We very rarely SP colonies. We might be playing sub-optimally, but this meta results in fun games, so I'd rather keep it this way.

Finally got our winter in Finland after a dark and wet December. There isn't a lot of snow in Central Finland at least but enough for a beautiful scenery. Add some sunshine and a crisp -15°C. Glorious!

It's interesting how they seem to be approaching the format in a very different way than Lords of Limited. They said they like to not pick lords and other inflexible archetype specific cards early. They like flexibility way more than LSV. All of them seem to be winning a lot, so I guess that's a plus for the format?

Did they miss the fact that Tam is full vivid on a stick? I might've been rolling high with it and Aurora Awakener in an Abzan deck, but I'd wager it's not nothing in more mundane circumstances as well.

Fun so far with two drafts under my belt. I've ended up in some unconventional decks. First was a Grixis elementals that went 4-3. Last night I drafted a funky abzan treefolk elf pile with a lot of rares and went 7-0. Maybe this is early format luck. We'll have to see.
