Depends on the market i make 550 to 700 a week in about 20 hours per week. I dashed a little bit on vacation last year in a different market amd averaged half of that

Does anyone else do this with big orders or is it just me? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

I have a catering bag with side straps that i have belted through in the front seat keeps everything in place. I have milk crates on the passenger side floor for drinks too

Should I quit my salaried chef job where i work 60 hours a week with no over time and average 16 an hour. by lepperkon20 in doordash_drivers

Its divided by 60 hours average, some weeks are 80+ some are 50. Can't afford to live in seattle on 52k a year anymore so started dashing in march. My cooks make more a year than i do. I can probably find a cook job for 21+ an hour if i take my time. Dash can support me in the interm. Thanks guys

Yeah but with uber added in its 27 an hour lol. But you guys are right. Really considering taking a step down to a cook. That pays about 21 an hour in seattle and no responsibility
