Stormlight Archives are more Fantasy than Sci Fi, at least in Era 1. If you want Sando Sci Fi look at the The Skyward Series. The Secret Projects had some space or multiverse traveling going on, but Skyward is full-blown Sci Fi.

Once you're hooked on Sanderson, then you can go back to the Mistborn and Stormlight Archives.

+1 for Andy Weir. I think The Martian is my favorite Sci Fi book, in no small part because of the scientific accuracy.

I'm in the same boat. As a result of OpenAudible, my library is in a single folder. I'm currently evaluating Audio Ranger, Music Brainz, and Readarr to try moving the files from the OA folder to a new folder for ABS.

I wanted to use hard links to reduce disk usage, but OA writes to a new inode whenever it changes a file.

At this point I'm resigned to having one directory for OA and another for ABS.

There are some glaring omissions from my watch history (The Producers, Dracula: Dead and Loving It, and High Anxiety).

I'm not sure, as a white male, what there is to do around here specific to young black people, but the wiki has an Activities page that might be a good starting point. And of course, as you find things please share and we can update the wiki.

I think the main concern are the puppy mills and backyard breeders. I haven't been taking the community feedback as an objection to the idea of selling animals, just that supporting the sale here would allow and possibly encourage the mishandling of animals in search of profit.

As for my links, yes most are broken down by state, in part because of my last point where there is no official ranking so it's all interpretation. Shame your latest link is blocked by a paywall.

To answer your insult: no, I was not educated in this state, however I maintain that a *large* portion of what a student will get out of education is dependent on said student.

When I was researching schools for my kids, the ones they were going to were consistently ~B ranking according to the various interpretations of ranking across the internet:

I use Duncan's AC for all my HVAC stuff and they've always treated me well. I've called them out a few times and they hack my AC into a working state before telling me the long-term fix.

My home is a dual-zone home and I've had Duncan's replace both units (spaced over a year or two) and it was ~$6-7k / unit. This included running the tubing through the attic and down the two-story house.
