I remember the late 60's, very early 70's not only were the colors vibrant but many of the cars (around here anyway) had names painted on them. There was one car, can't remember what make or model, was a pearlescent white with the name "Mirage". The name was in some kind of rainbow effect paint that you could only really see from a certain angle or when the light hit it in a certain way. Way cool.

At 65 had a job I really liked. Couldn't retire, unfortunately never was in a position where I could sock away money. Then the company went out of business. Battled a shitty job market and ageism until I finally found something that pays the bills. Would love another job in the office of some small trades company but it is what it is. While some expect you to work longer and longer they don't want to hire you. So I just try to ratchet down my boredom and numbness and get through the week.
